Additionally planning on picking up all Red Sox cards, not sure if I'll continue Quiccs' set or not. I liked his first two, but if I decide that I want to cut down on my purchases then that'll probably be the first set to go.

After completing the P2020 set, ended up with too many cards that I didn't really like all that much. It's been much easier to set limits and only go after subsets I want on a set as big as P70

I think I'm buying my first Snoop card (though I don't hate the Mookie at all). Again, some of these cards remind me of the memories of the community, and it's not the worst card, and it's Eddie Murray, with a purple 747, released on 4/20. So I think I'm in for 1.

Hardy har har. From what I gather they were bad. Despite the inconvenience of the pandemic, happy to be in the here and now, able to order cool looking pieces of cardboard and discuss with others, using my phone.

Happy birthday Don Mattingly, on the off-chance that you’re lurking. Someone with a more vigorous collection could show off, but my favorites are easily Shore, Ermsy, and the Saladeen FAP.

It's art; it's baseball cards. Everyone will have their likes and dislikes. But at least to some extent, all things being equal, better cards sell more, right?

Of course, we'll still have too many Mantles, Trouts, Acunas, etc...since they will sell well even if the majority of collectors think the card is bad.

Which contributors do you think are so bad they should lose their jobs, so to speak?

Very disappointed in P70 OMA. His best cards were the older players in P2020 and he keeps doing modern guys. Deion is a bum in the baseball world. Ridiculous. I liked the Chipper choice, but are all 20 of OMA's cards going to be the red, white, and blue theme? If so, get ready Cubs fans.

This is more the fault of Bo Jackson for not being available. Are there 51 baseball figures from the past 70 years who are more famous than Lasorda or Deion? Especially once you strike out Bo, Joe D, Barry, AROD, Puckett, and whomever else.

Nope, Maddux pitched in 19 games for the Dodgers so there's no way we'll get him as a Cub. (More seriously, I'd be very surprised if we got a Cubs Maddux rather than a Braves Maddux unless one of the artists is secretly a diehard Cubs fan or just wants to mess with people - so I suppose we can't rule out an Action Bronson Cubs Maddux since trolling seems to be his game here.) I would hope so. I'd go for any other Cub at this point just to see something new.
