After no companion cards for me with P2020 I dropped my first companion card for P70 today to pair with my 1952 Mickey Mantle card today.

Base is limited to 520 and AP Variation limited to 70. unfortunately the AP Variation is sold out at the time I am writing this.

- Also this companion set will only be a 2 card set. Don't want to overdo it but wanted to have some fun in this space!

Yep rookie card. Also will be doing Game Worn RPA - with Autos being on card. In this climate that'll be very rare as I'm noticing a strong shift to "player worn" not game worn patches and also sticker autos.

Indeed! I got one, had fallen off the wagon but that gold brought me back... permanently.... for better or worse!

I'm 2 out of 9 so far this week.

I find that once you pass on one card of an artist it makes it easier to pass on their later cards. Very liberating!

So, I'm only speculating, but the story Pardee is developing would make the most sense if the invasion happened all at the same time, suggesting that his entire set could be of current players. If that's the case, there's no a lot of options on the Pirates right now. Who knows, maybe Pardee went to camp with Colin Moran. But assuming my speculation is correct, I think it would have to be Ke'Bryan Hayes. (A previous post also seemed to suggest his next card would be a rookie, which matches up here too.)
