Just curious if any of you have seen a correlation between FedEx tracking numbers and foils and/or gold frames.

I typically order the three pack, which typically weighs 0.9 pounds and has a FedEx tracking number beginning 748999.

When I've gotten foils, the package weighs 1.1 lbs and has a FedEx tracking number beginning 612999.

I have gotten two notifications in the last two days of packages weighing 1.2 and 1.1 lbs, both with 612999 tracking numbers. Possible Gold frame and foil?

You might be on to something. I have bought every three pack so far, never more than one of each card. I have received one foil card so far (CRAOLA Clemens) and when I looked back just now at my tracking, that package started with a 612999 tracking number and 1.1 lbs and all of my others have been 748999 and 0.9 pounds, and one with 1.0 pounds that had a lot of extra paper stuffed in. I also have a new one that was just shipped with a 612999 tracking number and 1.1 pounds, it is the 100-102 bundle, hoping like heck for a Mantle but with my luck it will be Manuel (or no foil at all). With the print runs, the math yields so far that if you buy one of every card, you should get one foil every 55 cards or so, so I am due for my second one. I also read above that people got the foil in addition to the base card, with the CRAOLA Clemens, I only got the foil card in my box and I had to buy the base card on Ebay. Are people actually getting a foil in addition to their base(s) or instead of?

JK5 cards should come with instruction manuals. With the Cal and Vlad Jr, I just focus on one part of the card and try to feel it, and then look at the rest of the card. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. With the Reggie, I'd look at the center purple Reggie and think deep thoughts about the mystery of Reggie.

Was Epstein right? Was Reggie attention-mongering? Or, was Reggie just trying to express his sympathy? I'd guess it was more the latter, since Reggie apparently grew up in a more Jewish neighborhood. But, such is the mystery of Reggie.

Hate to pour cold water on this, but about half of my packages begin with 612999 and I've yet to receive a foil.

It's been a day! Haven't been able to stalk the topps site or read my favorite forum like usual. My reactions:

The Mantle, meh. I understand the original is a famous card, and I suppose Beck improves it, but not dying to get it.

I liked Morning Breath's Rivera and Mays but not really digging the Judge. I have to say "no" to some of these.

The Kruk is cool; I've been liking distortedd so far and i'll get this, too.

612999 numbers look super familiar and I only got the 1 foil so far, which was an extra.

Congrats UGLI Baby on the Acuna. I'm so happy you got that and not, say, the Bobby Hundreds Strawberry.

I've received a gold in 2020, and two foils in 70...each time it was the three base cards and the bonus gold/foil.
My 1.2 lb is for cards 91-93
The 1.1 lb today hasn't yet hit the system for which particular order.

I've gotten two shipments of 5 packs with the 612999 tracking number, one came with a foil and one did not. Sorry to say I don't think there is any correlation

I enjoy todays' offerings from all of the artists.

Tyson Beck is peak Beck and reminds me of early P20 cards he did that I enjoyed. I don't like the wording on the top left but it is a sign of the times similar to when Efdot used the mask on Gooden, so in that regard, I get it.

Morning Breath designs are fantastic! I just don't care for the player chosen, who knows I still might grab it.

Distortedd is doing fun stuff and will continue to do so as this set goes along, I appreciate her designs and outside the box ideas.

Overall this is one of the best 3 pack buys so far, in my opinion.
