These Nuggets just aren't very smart.
Murray being guarded by Looney, so he... Passes the ball away.
MPJ just in general looking lazy, and dumb after recovering a steal to just throw up a three when there's nobody else around and time on the clock.

Looked brutal.

He was basically Denver's entire offense output in the bubble last year.

Sucks to see. Denver is chalked if Murray is out.

.
It goes to show how good of a job Doc is doing, and how piss poor of a job Brett Brown did.

It's not just about Embiid closing... it's about the team being built around getting him the ball in position to be a threat any time he's in the game.

Yep.....another non-contact injury likely due in some part to fatigue.

Seeing a lot more "non-contact" injuries this year....

NBA really needs to shorten the regular season and allow players to get more rest between games.

Fingers crossed it's just like Embiid and hes been in a few weeks.

Playoffs start May 18 (play in). That means he's got a month to make it back.. If it's a bone bruise there could still be a chance.

Murray hasnt been playing lately - due to soreness in his other knee... this was likely him coming back too soon and favoring the healthy leg too much, or trying to keep weight off/pivoting on his 'sore' one. This really sucks, I'm bummed.

Hoping it's a 'sprain' but doesn't look good.

Man I really wanted to see healthy Denver with Gordon in the playoffs. Let's turn off injuries

It looked like a torn ACL. I’m not trying to be sensationalist and hope that he’s ok, but having blown out my knee twice and watched a best friend tear his on a very similar move, it just looked all too familiar.

Based on how his lower leg cambered out when his foot hit the floor, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't a compound xCL situation. That looked terribad. But hoping it's not.

I was at least somewhat aware of every game being played today - except that one. Did not know it even happened.
Is there a particular reason you added a photo of Robin Lopez from a completely different game..?

Yea.... it did look that way.

I'm still going to hold out hope it's less serious until it's confirmed otherwise.

When I first saw Embiid's knee buckle back, I thought the big man was going to be on the shelf for a year+. The guy is back now, and playing just as well as prior to the injury.

Not to detract from Jamal’s injury but Denver could likely fall in the standings. Jokic's MVP aspirations will probably take a hit as well.

Even with a quarter of the season loss could Embiid still be in a position to win, especially with a strong finish?. Wild season.

So many overreactions here on the Murray injury.

He is great in a bubble (literally and figuratively) but this team can still win and be a top 4 seed without him

They will likely miss his scoring in the playoffs when you need a big bucket or a guy to go on a run, but saying this team is toast without him is just silly

Saw a stat today that Jokic + Murray together were something like +13 point per 100 possessions, Jokic without Murray was -2.

Doesn't mean they won't still be a solid team... I think the adds of Aaron Gordon and McGee are still and upgrade.

But I'll go on record to say that their NBA title hopes are toast without him.
