Yeah, I was able to get all the way to the final checkout page for the Ozzie. But I didn't actually want it, so I didn't place the order.

Do they?

Ha ha I joke. Blake looks downright polished in P2021 compared to some of the participants. And I agree with you that he doesn't come up often as a PR leader, though I personally don't forget. Like he said, he thought the PR for Cutch was solid, and he was right.

Ozzie AP shows up as sold out. Which lasts longest?

I really like the CRAOLA card. I'm starting to wish I'd bought the others becuase I think I'm only going to like his set more and more. I don't love any of the subjects or teams yet, but this might be the one that gets me to finally buy one.

one hour in, ozzie AP sold out but other two still available.

I wonder if topps lowers these back down to $99 if this trend continues..

I'm a little surprised. These are all better than the Lasorda last week, in my judgment.

Honestly I don't think the price is the problem ... even though I was wrong and thought this would start around card #100, the flip just is not sustainable out on the market.

Why would anyone pay $170 for that Larussa or Gooden AP when you can go buy the next five "pop fly guy" print releases for the same price?

I'd pay 100 for some of these. No chance at 170. The price is a problem for me.

Unless it's a nice Griffey!

My only concern with the Pop Fly guy is that his last few issues don't have MLB logos and [full] player names. That's the only thing that's held me back on the Seaver.

Also, people prefer baseball cards over larger prints.

Hey, no fair calling me out because of something you posted WHILE I was writing my post.

I think the reason a lot of people forget it is because he's so consistent. I think his PRs are the purest gauge of a player's hobby value. Maybe Naturel and Matt Taylor are as well, but Blake consistently outsells both of them.

I would guess that the secondary market on these cards is dismal--it'sall about the foils

Did the earlier ones have those? Interesting. I bought the Seaver just to see how they look in hand.

the AP flippers and foil chasers have been masking how dismal some/many of these p70 have been.
AP flippers have mostly moved on at this point; at what point are the foils no longer worth chasing, when they fall below $100 on the secondary?

They all had team logos until The Mad Hungarian. I wonder if MLB came a-knocking once his PRs increased a bit.

He's done a good job of hiding it so far. It's not noticeable on the Seaver unless you look closely at Mr Met.

i bought a 2009 Flagship ASG Ichiro Printing Plate for $80 last week, which is a real 1/1 item.

i cant see myself ever spending 170 on any of these

That's what I don't get, why does anyone want a foil of a card they don't like.

Re: Efdot and his team get things done

Just wanted to share a positive experience I had with Eric and his team...

I thought I had purchased the Left Arm of Blob (Koufax companion) when it was released, but somehow I didn't. It's no longer listed on his site, so I reached out to see if it there was one left. They replied with a link to purchase it. I then asked if I could tack this card purchase onto the Say Hey Blob (Mays companion) purchase I made on Friday and they sent me a new link where they combined shipping so I didn't incur an additional cost.

Good stuff.

There were a few AP auctions I tracked last week that came in well under MSRP. I'm guessing the flippers are going to get more selective, if they haven't already.

Probably coincided with his interview on the mlb network where they were really pumping up his work.

Fair enough. I thought so too but then talked myself into the Ruth yesterday.
