Anybody pick this up today? $150 per box is a bit steep for my blood, but I do like the product.

The LCS is selling these for $170. So after taxes, I'm looking at $185. I "may" pick up a box, because I really hate money.

I have fond memories of Absolute Memorabilia during the mid 2000's when the cards were really unique. But unfortunately it's one of those products that has gone downhill ever since, so I may eventually come to my senses and not buy one after all. It's difficult to see paying $185 for stickers and player worn.

Now if these were all game worn patches/footballs/jerseys/helmets like back in the day, I'd be all over it, but I get the feeling having not seen many breaks online, that every one of the relics inside the cards are all player worn.

Maybe the Kaboom Insert will help carry this product?

BO - Is it too much to ask to put arrows on the sides of the pictures to scroll through them without having to go back and select each pic?

Thank you.

It couldn't hurt. What do they fall at, one per master case? There's 50 on the checklist. My luck, I'd pull Cam Newton or Jimmy Geesus.

If its player worn stuff at these prices and the product is basically named after memorabilia then that's sad and I will stay away

i bought a case and while i think i did ok, at $170 a box it was essentially still a slaugther. it did not include Kaboom insert, which sucked. Would have liked that extra bit of value, but i guess they aren't technically guaranteed one per case, its "on average"

Auto hits weren't that great, no Autos of Haskins/Murray/Jones.

Got Bosa auto /30, Jacobs Auto /50. Best Quad Patch/Mem AUtos /25 were Pollard, Diontae Johnson and Mecole Hardman Jr

1/1 of Terry Bradshaw insert...........a couple of nice non auto parallels of Daniel Jones and Dwayne Haskins, with the best being a Haskins /5 and Jones /25

it is what it is, i was chasing after Kyler, got a base RC /199 and an insert /100 but i could have easily just bought a couple nice Autos and saved myself

Got a few of the base RCs in today, and they do look so much better compared to the past. However, I did notice that the name prints are off on some of them. I have one where the name was printed too low and they cut off the team name and position, and another too high where it cuts into the player picture.

For anyone wanting to chase Kaboom cards, Panini just posted this. The /10 and 1/1 parallels are all hobby only, some of the nonnumbered Kaboom cards are retail exclusive. Some of rookies have photo variation retail exclusives.
Per that list the 2 I wanted are retail exclusive, I see one of them on ebay already, so if that's true someone must have gotten lucky already at retail.

One of the players I collect is Joe Jackson. According to Beckett, he has both a hobby and retail base card. In past years, the two were easy to distinguish: the Absolute hobby cards had a metallic foil and the retail had a dull finish. I have purchased a card advertised as retail from two different sellers on the Beckett Marketplace and they both look identical to the foil hobby version I have. Can someone please help me distinguish between the hobby and retail versions?
