Tried to make a trade but the seller wasn't interested. I bid up to a certain point, but didn't really want the gold 1/1 to spend 1k+. Ended up missing the end of the auction. If anyone knows who won the auction, maybe they would be up for the trade.

it was Josh Gibsons great-grandson, Sean Gibson. I spoke with him a couple weeks ago, and the writer of the article also spoke to him separately, which is where she got the quote.

I can't wait to release the Gibson card... Gonna keep you on your toes about b/w image vs color though. If you have thoughts on that, I'd love to hear.

Love the b/w image with the color background, especially for a guy like Josh Gibson.

I like color for Gibson. Rip him out of the history books, make the statue come to life.

Opening day, ladies and gentlemen!

Hope Project70 releases up their game for the occasion. Past couple weeks have been largely meh aside from Pardee's Trout and Efdot's Ozzie.

I really appreciate Pose's artwork. I think the best is yet to come from him though and it will look really good once completed. I will keep buying..

I like his Henderson more than his Kaline.

Haven't purchased any POSE cards yet but will likely end up with at least a few based on his work outside of Project 70.

Yeah, I was on the fence for the Kaline card as it is not my favorite design but I am in it for the long run with the Pose set. I dropped Futura until I see a card I really like. Same goes for Bronson and others. Had Morning Breath opened up with Willie Mays I would buy their whole set, who knows might still get that, it's early..
I really like what Vides is doing now but not sure I want 20 Yankees cards, I am a Giants fan after all.

Thanks Tupac! My buddy loved the Henderson but not so much the Kaline. He is a Pose fan though so I think he is in. Thanks for posting though.

Received the first shipment from Wheeler today. I was more excited before I opened the box. Some of these cards don’t look good at all in person. RISK Piazza is probably the biggest disappointment. It is very dull, flat and pixelated.

The centering is somewhere between bad to terrible on 3/4’s of the cards. P2020 certainly had its issues with centering, but P70 is taking it to another level so far. I hope it is more personal bad luck than anything.

To top it off... not a single bloody foil. I know the odds but I still had hope! I am not at all blaming Wheeler for any of this.

Maybe I should take this order as a sign that P70 doesn’t want me in its life?

P70 is what it is
