No real love for his Allen & Ginter or Gallery card on eBay. Love the look and have been stocking up for my PC, curious why some of these 'old timey' feeling brands haven't caught fire yet.

You answered your own question. SHINY wins 99 out of 100 times, right now. New Money and the "Flippers" want chrome! Or at least, pretty cards. Old Timey is non of that. If collecting: buy what you like. If investing: don't try and reinvent the wheel.

I think A&G Minis are consistently the most undervalued line of cards every year. Pops rarely reach higher than a dozen and often fall below five for the variations. Even going back 13 years to Kershaw/Scherzer RCs, the pops are still in single digits on many of them. Bananas.

too many card backs on the ginter minis. dilutes the pool

cant tell the difference from the front of the card. not good

It's just A&G, Gold, Black, Brooklyn, and No Number. Gold and Black have the colors on the front. Considering No Number and Brooklyn are numbered to /50 and /25, respectively, you're really only dealing with three variations, two of which you can tell from the front.

ahhh is that in the last few years? i know the 2006 no numbers were not serial numbered lol

Not sure. Just went to 2019 A&G on BBCPedia and it showed them serial-numbered. I know the Brooklyns are by hand so now I'm a little curious.

I appreciate the info. I’m not as concerned with what the value is as much as just figuring it out. Right now everything is so jacked up price wise that I can’t get a good idea. I don’t personally think knits a $1000 plus card but it’s also definitely not a use it to level the table card.

Opening Day for Tatis is under 22 hours Away! Padres open up the year vs the D’Backs and Madison Bumgarner. Here are his career stats vs the LH starter:

6 for 11 with 2 Hr’s and 4 RBI’s

Then he faces Merrill Kelly who he has hit 3 Hr’s off in 11 AB’s. Looking for Tatis to get off to a hot start against the Dbacks.

I am mostly a vintage guy but I am wondering what Tatis RC is considered the best looking? It seems like Topps Chrome is the standard, but what are people's thoughts on which has the coolest image? Tatis seems like such a cool guy, like a Griffey Jr level cool guy, and I want an RC that captures that feeling. From my basic assessment it seems like the "sunglasses" Stadium Club fits the bill, but I admittedly am out of my depth. Let me know what you think!

Very rare and his first throwback. Plus Heritage has a massive following of people that want EVERYTHING Heritage. The price will drop drastically.

They’re a super tough pull and there are no parallels. So, rarest picture to date.
They’re cool but they were cooler when they were actual throwback unis.
