heads up, for those that missed out on ultimate packs and don't want to pay market price, there are group breaks over at Waxstash for packs, you can buy into these breaks with WAX

only 1 pack on there now that is full but more should be available when pack opening begins

So I ended up buying 5 packs and I’m totally lost. This will take some time getting used to I think. My packs aren’t showing up anywhere in my wallet. Is it cause the standard won’t show until it’s live?

No idea how I missed out on Ultimate packs. Put in order for 10 of each at first second said order processed and only got 10 regular packs. My regular packs have mint numbers around 100 to so I was pretty early

It seemed to me there was an issue with the Ultimate packs at the drop. My first transaction made right after the timer ended seem to go through but my card wasn't charged. I tried again and got 2 with mint numbers in the low 500s.

Waited for the Cartombs drop for days, even converted some of my remaining bitcoin to WAX specifically for them. They were gone before I could even get through my Captcha. Pretty angry with it, but that's how they all seem to go.

Did get 2x Godzilla packs just now.

yeah they only do 1 pack at a time, once the pack opening is live these should cycle right through. here's the response i got from their telegram

"yes....only one live pack at a time....you can list for a lower price to takeover a abreak only before the pack fills. once it fills it locks, and we wait to open it. Usually they open right away, but today with the new release we have to wait until 4"

Yeah I would NOT recommend this experience to anyone. I wanted to buy three ultimate packs. I tried to use my VISA three times. Everytime that failed during the credit card transaction. Nevertheless just now three charges for $311.96 showed up as pending on my statement.

I tried to process my discover once on a completely new run. That "went through" but then I was presented with a sorry we had to cancel this transaction. Despite that pending charge appearing immediately on my Discover it is at least now being refunded.

In my wax account I have six ultimate packs that I appear to have paid for nine ultimate packs ... despite only wanting to pay for three ultimate packs. Guess I get to wait and see if I have to spend several hours on the phone with Topps disputing this.

Sure been hilarious watching the flippers go from $150 per ultimate pack now down to $128 per ultimate pack lol.

First and last time I'll be trying this.

I wouldn't recommend FOMO'ing in and buying any singles on the marketplace yet unless there's like a legendary listed for $50, a lot of people still have to open their packs and list their cards, don't pay over-inflated prices right now

that's why I don't participate in these credit card sales, I like the WAX payment only sales. I bought a bunch of GPK Series 2 and they charged me 3 times, I ended up paying like $2600 and they couldn't refund me cause the packs were already delivered to my account. Hopefully their tone has changed a bit since then

if you were overcharged but only got 6 packs then the system will automatically refund you, sometimes it takes a few days for that refund to clear though unfortunately

I understand and know that this particular Visa is very slow to show and process refund, I'm not getting on the phone unless I see all three as cleared.

I understand that I will likely be able to flip the three I don't want for a profit but do you mind me asking about what percent you lose converting WAX back out through Bittrex to USD?

Also odd that it looks like people are paying a premium for lower mint numbers ... don't really understand that. I wish there was some explanation of how the NFTs are "decided" in their randomness. Like are they predetermined? Are they truly random? Meaning could there be less/more than the expected 550 amount of legendary NFTs? Since it's random?

I ordered 1 ultimate pack (which is currently pending on my cc) but I have nothing showing in my wallet on wax under NFTs; and then I waited for what looked like timer to run down on the topps website for it to just say "no pack available."

Am I missing something?

Given my experience you're probably missing the refund that will proccess within the next two days and the charge will likely never clear with your CC. Sorry.
