How long after winning a COMC auction on EBay does it show up in your “Auctions Won?” I want to use my credit to pay, and am linked already but it hasn’t shown up yet. Granted, I just won in the last hour. Thanks

Sadly, at this point, even having someone update the blog post is something. The lack of communication is dumbfounding. A little encouragement, pictures of the "new shipment facility," even a picture of Tim vacationing with a blob of sunscreen on his nose would be better than being ignored.
Been there, done that already...

The good news is the app should be amazing since it has been in the works for 6 plus years. I don't want to oversell it, but I'm hearing it will be better than the next GTA.

The crazy thing is Ebay sales have been really good for me this month even with their slow shipping. I’ve almost completely stopped buying though due to the shipping problems, this is the most my store credit has ever gotten up to. Sucks but can’t buy anything because it will be a month or more before they possibly ship it even though you still pay extra on rushed shipping. I’m also still waiting on a shipment from early January that still has yet to be shipped smh, was a 1000 card purchase. one of the best things on comc was you could buy in bulk and ship all at one time for flat rate fee, clearly you can’t do that anymore.

My store credit is crazy too. Trying to decide if and when I should pull it.

For some reason they have a hard time confirming a submission is complete.

Well believe it or not, they finished processing my order today.

It was one single card.

For a few weeks, it said 7. And the card was one that I sent in 4 copies. Somehow this one single card didn’t get processed with all of my other cards.

Just plain strange.

PSA suspended all but the $300+ per card grading services today. When is COMC going to suspend accepting submissions or shut down auctions to get caught up on shipping? It's a slow motion car wreck and we're all just along for the ride. I find it both amusing and disturbing they replace a warning about 1-2 week lead times on shipments (which we all know is a joke) with a bum toploader purchase program but they can't update the customers on anything we actually are concerned about.

Can’t do that when they are dependent on that money to keep running.

The shipping fees and delays are both exorbitant for a reason.

They're still making a killing on fixed priced ebay auction crossovers including the shipping charges. If they cut out auctions and shut down accepting submissions, they still have MONTHS of submissions to process and charge out. As they get closer to catching up, they reopen the highest submission levels, etc.

Not to mention with the huge popularity of the hobby in the mainstream at the moment, the credit deposits are probably the highest they've ever been. Most sellers are having near record activity this year.

This is the reason I sold the port today and cashed out. I want COMC to succeed, I used it significantly, but, I was too emotionally invested in their lack of any perceived care, and it was stressing me more than I should have let it.

I left a few bucks in incase something I have to have comes up, but otherwise, ill wait until my cards show up and see what happens in the up-coming months.

Take it out now, before they start screwing that process up too. You can always put it back in later if needed.

Last week, I submitted my first batches to COMC in nearly a year. There was a 1-week batch, two 3-week batches, and a 6-week (vintage / obscure) batch.

The 1-week batch processed on time. They also added a stray card which was originally supposed to be processed in May of 2020. So there might be something about submitting a new batch which jiggles the handle on an old batch.

The 3-week and 6-week are still at 5%. I'll post and update when the due dates for those have arrived.

This is ridiculous. I really want to distance myself from this company. The only thing keeping me around is the connection with UD and epack, because I mainly collect Marvel cards and they are dumped onto COMC, which makes completing sets possible.

I wish UD would break ties with COMC at this point after seeing how this all spiraled out of control and the trainwreck that occurred this past month, how badly this company is run.

My rushed orders from Feb and ebay wins that are 2, 3+ weeks past shipping date and not shipped, not one response to 5 emails sent to comc about my onsite rushed shipment being way past due, and here they are promoting ebay auction events. When they are piling up over 1,000 negative feedbacks in a month.

Are submissions and shipments handled by different departments in COMC, or is it all lumped together?

I'd be hit with 5% in state taxes if I did that, not a good option to pay the cashout fee and then another fee to put it back in the future.

Pretty sure they are different teams.

The train wreck that is UD would have failed Epack years ago if left to their own devices.

Now, could a third party swoop in and entice UD to let them take over all Epack and redemption fulfillment? That's the smart long term play (for UD and the mythical non-existent new third-party), but a complicated one.

Utilize the direct buy/sell/ship user structure of COMC and shift all delivery of redemptions and Epack to a more vested 3rd party without a lot of the clutter. The entire inventory would be from UD stock printing and fulfillment, no "circulated" inventory.

This new fulfillment company would need to be in the RTP area of North Carolina where the bulk of the printing is done to ease the process.

Hi...

Can anyone help me with what "pending quantity" means? I have a 3 week sub of 1000 cards that is 75% complete... just noticed the number 2 listed under the pending quantity tab though for some reason... Any idea what that means? Is it the number is flawed or rejected cards?

Thanks...

This is the biggest FU to people waiting on their cards.
Just checked their negs for the first time, no one is getting their cards.
One buyer dropped 7 negs another 13.

COMC needs to do something similar to what PSA did. They are on the road to complete failure at this point.

This is what I was thinking....would be great if UD got a competent 3rd party to handle the epack and shipments. If this ever happened, it’d be so long to COMC from me, and I’d be happy to never deal with them again.

Instead they seem to be doing the direct opposite, actually initiating events on eBay. It is getting clownish at this point, and almost funny if I didn’t have some large value shipments being held back and not shipped to me.

Curious if any sellers that post on BO have been hit with returns from their eBay auctions/listings BECAUSE COMC has been so incompetent in getting them out on time that the buyer just went and cancelled.

Anyone?

I haven't had a card returned to my account in several months. At least 50 eBay sales since 1/1.

I've had at least 150 eBay sales since 1/1/2021, not one return. Yet.
