Definitely one of his best looking rookie year inserts. I have a 10 but they rarely become available. 9s are over $5K now?!

A lot of Kobe's rookie year inserts are tough grades: SP Holoviews, Grant Hill's All-Rookie Team, everything in Ultra (All-Rookies, Fresh Faces, Rising Stars), base Topps Youthquake, New Editions, Rookie Prevue, Metal Edge, Freshly Forged, every variation of the Best Picks cards.

Had a bgs 9 and think I sold it for around $200 last year...can't hold em all!

Congrats on having a 10! Just checked - lowest BGS 9 is $7500...PSA 9 is $15k. Ridiculous (in a good way)

Collecting kobe is going to get more and more expensive.... bubble or no that is my true pc.

I'll sell some along the way if the gains are ridiculous.... but still have plans to build a nice pc.

kobe topps chrome youthquakes starting to pick up some steam again. psa 10 new all time high sale of 13k, psa 9s back up above 3k and a bgs 8.5 just did 1800

I've been sitting on this one for almost 10 years now. Right time to sell? The surface scratches are all on the case. It's numbered out of /2. I was planning on saving this for my eldest son (Who we named Kobe).

I'm in the minority but I feel like the base one should be worth more (at least for 10s) because it's a tougher grade.

Thanks for sharing all these awesome cards! Love the E-xception. I've been on the lookout for some low-end Kobe rookies recently, feel there are several good buys & have picked up a couple incl an underrated one in my eyes. Will share eventually

The top one probably around $4k, middle one $2.5k to $3k. That last one however is a 5 figure card easily. It's a Silver Prizm from the first year Panini Prizm. There's a base version thats already over $10k currently and the auction isn't even over yet. Granted its a BGS 9.5 and yours is a 9. But that first year Prizm Auto is very sought after by collectors and that year is on card too. I'm thinking $20k+ even if its not Gem Mint

I'm considering getting them graded but after reading about PSA looking the other way when fake cards are submitted (I just learned about it this week, there's some threads here on the forum) it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that I would need to deal with them. I'll be selling most of these and hold on to 1 or 2 of them.
