Looks like the Warriors have found themselves a backup shooting guard and anchor for their second unit in Jordan Poole.

Since being recalled from the G-League he's averaged 18 ppg in 22 minutes, while shooting 55% from the floor (42% from deep).

Also more than held his own defensively, with a cumulative -4 plus/minus in games the Warriors were a cumulative -53.

dont be so sensitive. its not my narrative, it was an observation for one game. i get sick of the narrative he has no help. the team scored 13 points when he went scoreless in half of the fourth. he has a good team, just not championship worthy.

So defering to teammates who can help is not good then? He has to score himself? I could care less and I know the Bucks sure as hell could care less who scores or does what so long as they get the win. Not sure what your argument is that you are trying to make.

i wasnt making an argument, i simply said he disappeared down the stretch of the fourth and took over in ot. then replied to replies. i guess you should have taken issue with the poster that said giannis should have a hernia carrying this team when it was clearly the team carrying him down the stretch

i think he can be a decent catch and shoot player. its just when he thinks about it he doesnt shoot as well. its in his head but the talent is there.

Whoever the female official is in the Mavs game shouldn’t have a job in the morning. Kawhi throws a forearm to the face of the defender right in front of her face and no call. Would have been his fourth foul. Smells like a fix.

yeah, giannis pull up jumper isnt pretty but hes improved enough to make the defense cautious. giannis fadeaway on the block is pretty though.

Some bad officiating in this game for sure. Starting to get physical. These teams hate each other since the playoffs last year.

This isn’t bad. It’s egregious like the announcer said. Morris bodies Richardson and knocks him down and the female ref calls a foul on Richardson? Again, right in front of her face.

Giannis' mechanics are a function of his hand size. He has some of the largest hands in NBA history. It'd be like us mortals trying to toss a nerf in the hoop from 20 feet out.

Kawhi would be the extreme exception to the rule.

Benjamin could be an acceptable 3 shooter. The only thing I'd point out about his mechanics is his tendency to fade and not square up his feet. He's unconventional in that manner.

Clippers are really tough to like. They aren't anything like what they were supposed to be when they put the team together. Might be the most fake "good" team in the league. No heart at all.

That plus he's probably too strong. I was watching a video on Wilt the other day and Tommy Heinsohn said he was too strong to shoot free throws but he watched him make 20-25 from half court before a game one time.

This too. It's just exceptionally difficult for men of that stature with exaggerated features to be good shooters. Shaq basically cupped the ball like a grapefruit when he shot ft's...I could almost feel his pain.

Great for defense and swatting balls---> not so great for sinking j's.
