Default New completed set - 1995 Crown Royale Pro Bowl Die Cuts

I just got these back from PSA and overall I’m happy with the grades. Most of the nines and tens on these die cuts were graded years ago, and there still aren’t that many. So a solid 8 set is great with me. But I’ll be on the look out to upgrade.

Love the old school designs! Back when companies gave us high-quality foil in inserts.

I agree. Back in the day the majority of collectors didn’t care for Pacific stuff but I always loved them. I always thought Playoff and Pacific were the two best football card producers in the nineties.

One of my favorite inserts from the 90's. Pacific had some terrific inserts!

Nice job!

I can only imagine how many get damaged trying to put in a holder. Beautiful set, but nightmare for condition freaks with all the nooks!

I damaged several until I realized you can put them in top first and then it slides right into the sleeve. There are some 9’s and 10’s out there so it’s still a viable set for OCD neat freaks, Jk.

I always loved this insert set. So creative year after year, the wave, surfboards, pineapple, volcano. As a team collector I only wish more Dolphin players made the pro bowl those years.

LOVE pro bowl die cuts. Pacific was easily the best card manufacturer of all time for me. I like that the cards were focused on innovation and quality, and that they were never intended to be graded or grade well. My goal was to get one card from every set and have about 4 of them overall.

I agree about the creativity. The sets they came out with were so innovative for the time. All the pro bowl designs are amazing.
If you had more pro bowlers you probably would have a few championships as well.
****On a side note, if anyone has the 97 Jerome Bettis - the surfboards- I need it for my set**** it’s the last one I need.

Obviously I too love Pacific cards, I personally think Playoff was slightly better but it’s arguing #1 and #1A.

Nice! I miss pacific. They had some really different inserts. I remember one was a christmas ornament die cut shaped like a tree.

I put together one of those sets. I can’t remember if it’s the 99 or 2000 set. Oh, I forgot, I did the baseball set. It’s not just tree shaped, there’s stockings, ornaments, candy canes etc.

Love the die cuts. My favorite of these is the Reggie White, just wish it was a 8 at least. Dumb question, I didn't know PSA did .5 or half grades like 8.5?
