With that being said Styles-Aaron I think is my #1 card, in hand its even better. Styles I think will end up with one the best sets, Skee has surprised me though and he seems to be invested in the project.

I didn't pick up the Thiele-Jackson but did like the card and it would be on the short list on trying to pick it up down the road.

Wow, SP chasers out in full force for this one!

I'm one of the few that didn't hate the Berra card.
The Yogi Bear likeness is amusing to me, and after looking at Ron English's other works, my money is on him having one of the sleeper cards of Round 1.

p2020 had Shore Gibson, p70 will have English Yogi.

When they create the prints/posters at the end do you think the horizontal cards will be printed horizontal or do you think they will be vertical with a sideways view of the card?

I thought it was an okay card. I didn't have a problem with the card at all. Better than Snoop's card! I just think that's a super high PR for an okay card (I'm a downstreamer who keeps reiterating what % of the set we've seen)

I hope they just tetris it in. I know this will make the bottom of the print arbitrary but I would prefer that to white space. Likely means they will appear out of order but that doesn't matter much to me. Definitely worst thing to do is keep them all vertical lol.

THANK YOU.

Blob Hurt image is then one of his three singles, liner into to shallow left (in my imagination).

Not surprised at all that Mo dominated, would have been more surprising to see the opposite.

[looks like we're missing outcome on one PA, HBP? SAC?]

He completely misses the content.

The whole point of the Illmatic cover is Nas as a 7 yr old about to grow up in a world of racism and projects.

All he had to do was get a photo of Satch as a kid (or have someone draw a realist photo of him if no photo is available) and this SATCH-AS-KID would be confronted with decades of baseball behind a racist color line that quarantines him into a future of project (alt league) baseball.

A first grader could copy the form of the Illmatic cover. And maybe understand that using a photo of grown-up Satch waters down the point of the LP artwork.

Very cool, Blake!

I have a feeling this Palmer Betts card is going to be the Siff Ryan card that I regret not purchasing so I am going to have to pick it up. Every time I see it I get this sense of enjoyment and everything is going to be all right.

I didn't know that, he played before my time.
His personal feelings aside, the "relationship" between the two is undeniable, as undesirable as it may have been.

Besides, if anyone's family should be upset about an artist rendition, it should be Jackie Robinson's, at Siff.

Nothing like being on one of the most celebrated and storied franchises in baseball as well as being one of the greatest catchers of all time and then having super thin skin when someone pokes a little fun.

If I never meet another Yankees or Packers fan again it'll be too soon. There's just no room for anything other than praise & absolute adoration with people like that.

Curious as to everyone's thoughts on this card?

This is the first Project related card I have bought since about #40 in P2020.

This is the Soto Bambino by Naturel. Print Run of 222.

Lol I saw the tweet. Glad she's spending her time crushing the real problems today.

She has every right to be offended and I have every right to assess that.
