They're clearing "Regular" subs BIG TIME.
Knocked 55 days off of their backlog. Now at 65 days for the oldest order.

Probably more of them being done with the dates that had a few subs lagging. Now they are hitting days with a huge number of subs still outstanding.

Dumb question... Is Regular (plus Voucher) considered Regular?

Unfortunately, CC voucher orders are in their own group...at least from what others have shared in terms of movements...what little movement they have experienced. Those orders seem to get the least amount of movement...but who know...maybe they'll get to the CC orders after the Regular orders are caught up? That's a big maybe...

On PSA's site:
A service level’s Complete Through Date is the day before the date of the oldest open order in the PSA system for that service level. The CTD is based on order entry date, which means the day the order was formally entered into the PSA system for authentication and grading. |

Graphic presentation of the lag time trend. This is the difference between the current date and the date of the oldest entered order in the PSA system.

Maybe already mentioned, but is that days or business days?

I kinda doubt they are clearing a full days worth of submissions per day, just the stragglers that are still left at those dates. It’s gonna get worse before it gets better with the more recent subs.

Correct. Which is why a median date of sub remaining would be more helpful.

Does psa’s system acknowledge that your package was received when you enter the package tracking # into their system? I have a package that usps says was delivered on 3/5 but psa’s website still says it’s not received

Anybody that sent out a package from around Feb 22 through Mar 6 via USPS may be part of the mountain of packages that got backed up at the local postal office in Newport Beach. PSA is now in possession of all those packages...but it takes time even to scan the barcode of each package which then marks the packages as having "Arrived" on your MY ORDERS page...and then a much longer process to get the cards "Entered" (probably take another month or two unless you are Super Express). This delay in getting the packages to show as "Arrived" is not normal...but it's because in that time frame (2/22 - 3/6), PSA got around the same amount of cards as all of January and the first 3 weeks of February combined as people heard about the rumored price increase and sent everything they had ready to PSA the last week of February/first week of March (after locking in old submission prices on Feb 28th).

I doubt the "stragglers" are getting first priority at this point. Although not FIFO, there is some correlation to when a card was submitted and when it ends up being graded. |
