I realize folks like to hammer OP's of stuff like this...but I feel like an indent of that magnitude at least deserves a picture or mention.

If I were the seller and I messed up that bad on a card I advertised as pack fresh and didn't know it was there, I'd refund you and tell you to keep it.

Examples (not all inclusive)
of defects I feel fairly fall under "pack fresh" with no mention:

1. Foreign material in a chrome card surface. Bane of your existence fishing for raw, gradable chrome cards, but a fact of manufacture.
2. Slight wear to corners or borders on paper cards to put it into a gradable 8 range
3. Small breaks in gloss of cards as they came from the factory-panini is good about this one in their cheap paper cards.
4. Some edge chipping on the back of paper stock cards
5. A slightly bad back corner on a chrome card.
6. Surface dimples on chrome cards-try to picture them, but pointing out every one is excessive.
7. Centering...take good pics, but it is what it is

Can we take a moment to shame those folks who list photos of off-center 30/70 refractor cards at angles that accentuate the shine but which also conveniently make the 30 side in the foreground look roughly even with the 70 side in the background?

You all know what I'm talking about.

A seller isnt in the market for a psa 10 most just sell to sell, I can this being an honest mistake and the seller had a clear scan of the back so how much more clear can he get. like everyone else has said including myself, if you're hunting for 10s just buy a known 10 and can avoid any confusion or issue.

Yeah, for sure. PSA hired one of those sellers.

Wow, this just blows me away that anyone would pay that much for some random card of a minor star like that. I mean don't they make a million different insert cards now? If there are so many what makes them so special to command that price when cards from the 50s and 60s are so much tougher to find than an insert of a player in his 8th year or whatever?

ROFL, makes me laugh me every time...they angle the shot so the slab is at an angle in an attempt to hid just how off center the card is.

This is why when someone asks me if a card is Mint I simply respond that Mint is subjective to each collector. I provide pics and say I can more if they need anything specific, but will no state an actual raw grade.

Cards was advertised as mint or better and "card went from pack to sleeve." The card did not hold up to those representations. Tell the seller it was damaged and if they give you a hard time EBay is going to take your side. I wouldn't accept it.
