the only reason to get these cards is if one is already working on a Full set, a Yankees complete set or Orioles/Ripken set.

Some of these cards feel like they were done under a 10-minute time limit, like those top chef cooking shows.

Every Ripken in P2020 better than this one. This "avid card collector" picked an image of Cal popping out to shortstop. Truly amazing.

Meaning this card matches the profile of who Don C associates with and why he chose to use album art as a backdrop for a baseball card.

If he chooses to use album art as a backdrop for his theme I think it's lazy, but it could produce cards better than this Deion. A Cruel Summer album art backdrop for a White Sox player like Luis Robert or Eloy Jimenez would look cool. A Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album art backdrop would have potential as well.

After looking through (just now) some Ron English pieces, this makes a bit more sense. He seems to like to combine two different elements into one. Not saying that this one is very successful, though. I don't see much of either Yogi, outside of pinstripes and his name listed on the front.

I am curious to see if they blindly buy the APs, particularly at the raised price. Not a ton of sales from yesterday's APs compared to the amount listed, and I'm not sure playing the long game will really pan out.

Not a chance. I don't think any of these guys know who Eddie Murray is. But you may be onto something....tell them it's Eddie Murphy and see what we get.
