So last week seemed to be a big stocking of Optic FB Mega and such.

Anyone seen anything this week?

The S1 baseball from last week also dried up

Last week Target had Hoops, Optic Football, and S1 Baseball. This week I've only seen S1 baseball (Could have missed a restock but this Target has strict limits so usually easy to find).

Last week my Walmart had small restock of Hoops and HUGE stock of Optic Football. This week - 3 Fat Packs of Hoops. 3 Each of Fat pack, hanger, blaster of Optic Football.

Seems like a light week for retail

Same sign at my local Meijer today; maybe that will be chain wide. I’m self-employed; Fridays @ 3 will work for me...sometimes though mostly not. If they really enforce the limits there would be cards left in the evening where I live. Some employees probably will, some probably won’t.

All of the purple parallels are available from a handful of sellers. As in all 330 of them. I doubt they got them via the average placement of 15 / store / week that I have seen the last few years. My town has had none.

I’ve given up. The three Meijer by me don’t enforce anything. One of the managers told me it’s a hassle to babysit grown men, they can fight it out.

Just walked into a Target in Charlotte...actually to buy diapers because I never expect to see any cards. Young 20-something kid had 8 mega boxes of Optic in his cart. He saw me and quickly pushed the buggy to the women’s clothing section and waited there until 2 girls showed up, gave them each 3 mega’s and they all three walked to self-checkout. I mildly contemplated calling him out and quickly decided it wasn’t worth it.

Went to get groceries at Meijer last night and always check the “card section” with hopes of seeing ANYTHING at all...

1st cards I have seen in possibly 6-7 months sitting on the shelf and I bet I am in there once a week. Picked up 23 blister packs.

Nice, I picked up 2 of these last week at my local Meijer. Did you not have any limit signs posted at yours? Mine has a limit of 2 per item.

Ha, that is a fair point. I'll admit I picked up a few initially before I was told you're not supposed to take the tray.

didn't see any hoops or signs for them at drug stores. I did see repacks in plastic containers that need manager unlocking because apparently they are now theft items. maybe the hoops are behind the counters w/tobacco. nothing at the big boxes either..

There are always empty display boxes, so they are getting product. I usually just glance at the aisle where the cards are and expect to see the same empty displays.

I can't believe all of the 2019 Prizm FB that sat in the toy aisle at this Meijer for about a year, probably 20+ Mega boxes, with nobody touching it...then COVID...then cards go crazy.

Uh, no. I took a few BEFORE I found out it was wrong. And then I stopped. Any other questions?

Probably quite a few characters. Oh, you mean cards? Hopefully everyone out there is finding more than the lingering stench of BO.

At the walmart I was at it was interesting yesterday early morning

They took all the sports and pokemon in two carts and each person could take one of each. Then the line would start again.

Seems fair to me, about 25 in line

I can't imagine if people take 3 of each there wouldn't be anything by the end of the line

Nobody took topps, I took a few of the walmart megas, left about 20 blasters and 100 loose packs which will prob be gone as junkies who missed the stock need to rip something lol

Nothing.

2 weeks in a row with no stock. In fact this week every old, empty tray was gone.

I have yet to see any Optic FB on any shelf.

I hope to see those Meijer blister packs. Of course the random chance to hit a good purple is nice. But I like the 1/pack insert in the loose packs lately, and the pack itself has a few more base cards lately too. I don’t know yet what the 1/pack insert will be this year; I’m hoping it is those nice cardboard 52s. The 86s would be nice too. 1, sometimes 2 inserts, 1 guaranteed parallel, and 15? base cards all for just tree fiddy. But prolly 4 bucks this year, I’m guessing.

So it is a good way to casually build the set over a few months. Or, was. But if I could get 2 of those most every Friday until S2 appears, I’d be fine with that.
