While he's right he's still one of the dumbest anchors I've ever heard. Constantly misunderstands or doesn't address specific things. I love it though, it's fun to watch.

I like how it's been showing through a lot more since he started taping with Wade and Candace Parker.

Imagine some of the 80's stars like MJ, Magic, Bird, Drexler, Dominique, etc. if they were allowed to Eurostep or take step-back threes....both of which were travelling back then. And don't get me started on how many of today's stars get away with palming the ball.

The game today is played by completely different rules than it was 25 years ago....

Different times and I mean Shaq would probably have less points because of free throw lbs

It seems to me - I don't know where to verify this right off - that today's players are getting injured more than in the past, same as in the NFL. Bigger, stronger, faster players running/bumping into each other will do that.

That, and bad officiating, are the biggest drains on the fun of watching sport.

Traveling in the 80s-90s was mostly dragging the pivot foot or carrying the ball on a cross over. Now it’s using two different pivot feet and walking 7 steps without dribbling. It’s gotten absurd.

Today’s game to me is too much like watching an All Star game with no defense. Not entertaining at all. Also how players like Harden basically give up on their team because they want to force a trade so they can piggy back their way to a championship while still in their prime.

Suppose the biggest drain on the entertainment (aside from the aforementioned injuries and bad officiating) is the new heavy reliance on the 3. Is there some serious barrier to extending the 3 point line and maybe widening the court a couple feet to move the corner 3 line back?

Shaq is a the type of guy who would buy all his rookies to create a shortage in the market so he can brag about his cards is worth more because he is the better than you.
