Craola has a more simplistic design style that he uses in addition to his "main" style that he typically paints with. Look at his Stabby character and what he does with him. His paintings take several weeks to several months to complete. Love it or hate it this card fits what he does. As a fan of Craola's work for many years I had no idea what he was going to do but I thought it would be difficult for him to do a large format painting for each card he is going to do in the project.

Yeah I got excited initially by the Bellinger because it was a different style than last year, but thats worn off the more I look at it. Hoping he does a breakdown on his Instagram, maybe there is some interesting influences there. OMA himself had to sell me on his cards in P2020, maybe that will happen again. But so far very much a high end dept. store window display.

Fair. I'm honestly less familiar and just started following his stuff when he was announced for P70. Weeks to months for 20 cards does seems like a big ask. Was just expecting to collect his set, which I will not be doing now.

I have fully admitted on here that I'm more of an old school card guy than I am an art fan. I really enjoyed what OMA did with his P2020 set, by taking some kind of an inspiration and incorporating the player image with it. I can barely even see Bellinger on this card though. Like others have said, it looks like a greeting card. In general, I'm not into the cards that look like Pardee's, but his is the best card today.

Yeah, this is very Stabby.

I'm down for a animal baseball friend card if it's, like, Tom Seaver riding the back of a blue baseball peacock, or a baseball blue jay flying in fear from Randy Johnson.

Am I wrong in that you are a big Distrortedd fan though? That 100% falls in line with a card like Pardees Acuna.

I think one of the reasons you saw a HUGE initial jump in P2020 prices, was the shipping delay, imo.

I do enjoy the Distortedd card more than I thought I would, but I would still prefer a nice OMA or Naturel or Lauren Taylor set.

I would not totally lock in on Ermsy Tatis being the #1 print run already, with proper timing something could occur mid MLB season that could make a card sky rocket from prospectors or something.

And here I am still waiting for my Siff Jackie Robinson from Project 2020. Label created on January 6th and still sitting at Topps apparently. Anybody else?
