2021 Topps NOW - Page 6

Okay so it is a high Print Run and I never get Tatis parallels anyway but this is not a way to get me to buy more #Topps Now...actually might not buy anymore at all the way things have been going today with my A's Logo /5 Correa auto Relic. You can watch this if you like (I was going to be doing these videos for each card this year...but that is up in the air now as I might not be buying) but by the first 10 seconds you know my 40 Pack (The first 2021 Now cards I have received) is free of any parallels. That sucks dude, I'm sorry. I feel your pain ... I probalby bought 500+ Luis Robert Topps Now cards last year (I really believe in him) and there would be an 80 card purchase with zero parallels. Oh well, at least I got some /49 parallels last year but definitely felt like I had some crazy unlucky streaks even after computing the numbers.

That happens then, you know, I buy 40 of the Fauci opening pitch and land a /5 so I can't really complain.

I think it's best to just avoid and buy the parallels on the secondary if that is your target. I know you will likely pay through the nose on them but at least you know you get them.

Congrats man on that 1/1! Track down that rainbow!!! That A's logo is weird -- on the Correa card? You're right I guess it was from the A's game. Nice that you got some threads on it though.

I believe the plates have both teams logos no matter who the home team is since it is a playoff game. I'm not sure if the logos were on all 4 sides this past playoff season though...that might have limited the # of logos (home and visitor) that could be used. Maybe someone can confirm this?

Oh okay, that makes sense, I didn't realize it was a plate relic, make sense and still better than a blank white relic which is all I've ever gotten. I guess that's what they gotta do for the higher priced lower numbered ones.

Either way, pretty cool piece to have.

Haven’t seen 2020 but in 2019 the playoff base jewels had only the logo of the home team on it before the World Series, which had both.

My 2016 Ichiro 3000th hit has the Rockies Logo...was very disappointing but at least I will always know where he got the hit.

Correct, home team in playoffs is same logo recently, and World Series has dual logos. Maybe someone has a piece of these!

Haven't seen any on ebay either.
Maybe they forgot to print them

One thing I really enjoy about my Topps Now autograph purchases is that when I take the 15 or so that I've bought through the years (both direct and secondary) I enjoy how the design from 2017 until 2020 is very tasteful and timeless. It sounds weird to say but they don't take huge risks between years and I actually kind of enjoy how the years feel like a continuation in design and set.

I originally started buying Topps Now because they're hard signed but this realization didn't occur until I reorganized and I really enjoy these cards.

True. With the price of wax, you have to admit that these are a good deal for guaranteed autos.

I think they should have made auto set options for all teams as well. At least more than they did.
