Ticket stub grading at PSA

Looking to get my first game use ticket stub and wanted to see how the grading works at PSA. I’m not looking at a full ticket but a stub and it also has a hole punched in it. I’m guessing it is on the lower scale but just trying to gauge similarities to card grading. Would a stub with a hole in it essentially be a 1 or 2? Thanks.

I wouldn’t do it. I graded a ticket last year and the case is just terrible. It’s cumbersome and just unnecessary for tickets.

I've got a few graded, sometimes they use incredibly oversized cases, but for a stub it's usually a small case like a pokemon card size. Usually once a year they do $10 ticket grading specials, so I usually wait for that to submit.

Just got these back. Not sure why the XFL ticket got a jumbo holder. Maybe they ran out of the smaller ones.

If your stubs have value then it is a no brainer. If just for PC, maybe buy a screw-down and call it a day.

As for the hole punch. I think they grade it just like a sportscard, so it will get killed. You might want to just get it slabbed authentic with no grade as a low grade won't add value.

Sent in 3 tickets with the current special. 1979 NCAA hoops finals. Doubt I will see them back in 2021...

You might be surprised... The dodger tix above only took 6 weeks from delivery to poppage, at $25 each.

Looks like your PSA 6 isn’t sealed in the case properly.

Yeah, would have been nice if that was the 4! Just sent it back to PSA today. Hope it doesn't get downgraded for a bumper imprint. Can't wait to get it back so I can put next to the home run ball!

don't mean to hijack but does anyone know any sub groups taking advantage of the qtr special? I have one ticket I'd like to submit and do not want to sign up for membership

You realize that the regular price is $20 a ticket with NO membership required right?

I’ve had tickets take 5-6 months recently. They should come back by the fall.
