This kind of stuff drives me nuts. I have a Regular order that PSA shows received on 1/27/2021 and I'm still in grading status, also 9 cards total.

I think that must be an outlier. His turnaround was crazy fast. I have an express PSA shows received on 1/22 (as well as a regular received the same day) and both are still in grading. The express is a 4 card crossover and the regular is 6 cards.

Right, around two months is what I'm seeing for regular. Crazy that some people are getting it in half the time, which is basically what I'm seeing for Express.

I'm surprised your express is sitting in grading still, that should be moving along this week or next at the latest, I'd imagine.

Are turnaround times getting worse with express? I sent in one card express which was received January 7th and shipped out the 27th. 20 days total.

My current order was entered on the 4th of February and it's still in grading. ugh

Hey, quick question- I have about 20 cards that I’m submitting to PSA under the Regular ($50) deal, and then another 30 that I’m going to be submitting as a Value Modern order ($15)- is it better to submit them together or in totally separate shipments?

Submit them in one box, it's absolutely no issue. Sending multiple service levels in one package - as long as you use a combined shipping label from PSA's site - is common. If anything it'll just save you money because you'll only have to pay for shipping once rather than twice.

Is there a big delay in the incoming packages scan via tracking number? Just wondering how long I should wait before being slightly concerned about it.

I did this (packs, 2 value) all in same box. They quickly scanned the packs, but my 2 other value orders have not been entered. I printed out their label for the combined package too. Its been nearly 2 months, so I know there is still time to enter the 2 value orders, but next time I'd rather pay additional shipping just for the ease of mind in knowing the orders arrived.

The delays are expected and acceptable.

It's the complete and utter lack of any sensical order and transparency that irritates the masses. It's an absolute joke.

I am far more frustrated with the chaotic order than I am with an expected backlog. You can only grade so many cards a day... but is it too much to ask they do them...I don't know... in the proper order?!

Or... give the customers an idea of what the hell is going on/what to expect?

(Yes... yes it is too much to ask. /endrant)

Who else submitted Economy orders back in August/September would ever think that we would still be waiting for grades as we enter March. I had economy orders that were submitted just 2 weeks before take only 3 months from delivery to PSA to shipment. This is getting crazy. I am getting out of the hobby after all my orders come back.

It says that, but they shipped out my super express within 48 hours of grades popping still.

Scanning the package in and entering the data are two different steps. Separating the orders won't get them all entered in any more quickly. When they scan the barcode on the outside of the package, that tells them what kind of packages you have in the box and there is some sort of algorithm that tells them what the contents are in the various packages and at what time to enter the data on the packages. Of course you can try it out your way to see if things get entered any sooner, but stuff at the "value" service level are taking a minimum of 2 months it seems to hit the "Research/ID" step (entered).

Yeah...that note has been up for a few days now. It's possible that express return shipping packages are moving...as those go by air. Within state deliveries...those customers that reside in California, should also get their stuff shipped out and received as those packages won't get caught in the backlog. I had a package leave PSA via Fedex Ground to northern CA on Thursday 2/18 and received by Saturday 2/20.

But any packages that are going by ground across multiple states back to the customer are being delayed as the entire shipping system (Fedex, UPS and USPS) are still catching up from the snowstorms a week ago. I have USPS packages sent out from my CA location headed out to the East coast from 2/16 that are still out there somewhere still trying to get to their destination.

The PSA system to submit orders is complete toast right now.

I woke up early this morning to get some orders prepped before everyone did the same. Got 2 of 4 orders complete then the website starts asking for captchas, won't populate card info, or kicks me out.

Happened to me a lot yesterday. I had to complete the orders last night from 10-midnight cst. Was slow but seemed Normal around 10:30ish.
