Doesn't sound good. Can't email since they don't answer. If say call them but their phones are disabled.

I also have a second smaller check that was supposedly mailed on 2/15 that has not been delivered.

Does anyone know a different way to contact them?

This is unacceptable. I hate paypal but I guess I made a mistake requesting checks.

They will respond if you file a BBB complaint. I know because I filed and got a quick response, although a nasty one.

Interesting. Maybe it's cross-posted under another category as well, or maybe eBay now allows it. I'll mention it to them. It's really a drag currently when an artist has 12 sketches in a set and only one at a time gets loaded on eBay.

You could try them on social media...I thought I saw someone get a quick response on FB messenger. Twitter is an option, too. They're not good with any kind of public shaming.

So...here is why I need COMC to work or at least be decent enough that I don't cringe when I think of mailing in more cards.

I listed 20 basketball cards last night on eBay. Within eight hours of listings, I get four messages...

- Can I get a picture...

- Can I get a picture...what's your bottom price...

- Can I see a picture of...side, corner, back, etc. ($15 card)

This one was my favorite:

- Hi. Please don’t take this offer personally, just going off of my own recent purchases and comparables. Would you be will to part with this for $20? FYI I’m a pretty obnoxious repeat customer so if you accept I’ll probably make other offers. You have some cool stuff

The card in question here is lowest on site with many comps available ranging between $35-75. I'll just block this one and move on.

I started going through my boxes that I have ready to send in for basic (over twenty now) and decided to just list some myself.

Dude, this. I'm about 50% COMC and 50% eBay, but the last month or so of eBay has been super frustrating. For cards over $10, I'm taking 12 photos of each card in a light box, and have detailed descriptions of the card and it's condition. Yet I'll field constant questions about condition, requests for more pictures, etc. Recently I've been hit with a wave of return requests - I don't accept returns - but am kinda forced to with "not matching description", when they can essentially say whatever they want is wrong with the card.

I almost always accept the return without a comment and block the buyer, because I'm not dabbling in high end cards for the most part and it's not worth the hassle and possible negative feedback. I gotta say though, I'm getting closer to ending my eBay listings and selling my cards via Facebook or something.

I absolutely agree that COMC is a nice alternative to ebay for that. But with COMC failing at all levels, that becomes a concerning headache as well. Once you mail those, they are headed to a black hole. Now one should even be concerned they won't be added to correct ports.

I can't think of one thing they are doing well. No support or customer service, shipping times terribly behind on all levels, and cannot be trusted to properly added items to the site or meet submission dates.

The only thing going well is really that I keep selling through cards - that part works. It's been a common theme, getting in the way of your own success.

i just start using comc alot and selling has been good for me. shipping has been delayed as far as sending more stuff i havent because im worried it might be added to another port or not finished by the date. cash out took me 4 days thankfully.

Cash out a via PayPal have been good. People waiting for checks are the ones I feel sorry for. Non receipt and no response from COMC.

dang that is bad and does suck. imo still shouldnt take 4 days to send a paypal payments. I use comc because selling on ebay for me never works. I never sell anything on ebay but I've been selling good on comc.

I request a check every month and it typically is sent out within 7 to 10 days after the initial request.

It appears that the delays many are experiencing are due to the USPS. I'm still receiving letter mail that was sent in January - just had a 1099 delivered that was mailed on 1/27 (NC to PA).

If you receive the email that COMC mailed the check, they did, and the rest is in USPS's hands. Not much COMC can do about USPS delays.
