I ordered from them too but went through PayPal. The funds were never pulled and the PayPal purchase says it’ll be charged when the seller ships. I wouldn’t be nervous if you ordered through PayPal. You’d be double covered.

😂 this is why I joined the GPK club also. I’m in MC but I couldn’t take a chance that Topps just might drop it in the other club to boost its first year profile!

i saw someone on ebay listing a presale for $1500. i’m pretty shocked at how quickly these skyrocketed, especially with the auto situation being only 1:2 boxes. do you all think this set is going to be a benchmark set for f1 in the hobby? i know dynasty is first but chrome has the full set aspect going for it in a (at one time) more accessible manner

Hamilton is a legit GOAT for a giant sport (bigger audience than baseball). This is the first mainstream, licensed product with his cards in it. (A "technical" rookie, despite there being prior unlicensed and GP2 cards, which is also the case with Jordan Fleer '86.)

$1,500 is painful for a pre-release product, but if F1 cards establish a strong place in the market, the Hamilton Chrome from 2020 will be the big card (1/1 Flag Patch from Dynasty will be the $Xmillion card). I'd load up on Topps Now #3 at $350 instead of Chrome at $1,500/box... that's a big market error.

yeah i think you hit the nail on the head. i was lucky to order my boxes before it went bananas, and i’m going to rip them. i was out when they hit $400, and i’ve just been monitoring since. i have one #3 topps now at PSA but it’s PC for sure, just wanted to get the whole run slabbed. i don’t think i need multiples of that one for my purposes but it’s definitely insane to see what a $10 card i bought on the topps website is going for now.

I have 26 boxes coming. 24 at $150 each and 2 at $400. If 2017 Topps Chrome UFC is a 2K box this is at least a 1K box.

Chrome will be the pack pulled Hamiltons that are part of a base set that is where the $$$ will go.

I’m expecting to get cut down from 2 cases at the last minute also which sucks because I get the feeling that this will be printed heavily. Just the world we live in today.

No you should be fine. The Distributors and smaller stores will cut but you usually don’t have to worry with the big 3 on-line stores.
