Retails been limited to mostly cellos and even then its just getting going. Some blasters/megas have finally started trickling out in a few locations but soon this stuff will be flooded

I'm curious about this as well and haven't seen an answer. Figured I'd bump this. Thanks, all!

Right? Wreaks of the acetates from Illusions for me. Cool cards, but at the end of the day they’re going to be an overprinted insert.

Hopefully! Affordable cool cards are never a bad thing!

There are a ton of Teal Explosion cards out, but slowly starting to see Purple Explosions. Any idea if the print run on these are similar? If so is the delay on the purple explosions due to them possibly being retail only?

It will really depend on the demand. Look at the Net Marvels from last year’s Donruss. I know it’s not an exact comparison, because that was a hobby-only insert and these Slam inserts are retail, but they’re both very plentiful and not rare at all. I thought Net Marvels would drop, and they did for a little bit a few months ago, but then they shot right back up and they’re more valuable now than ever. PSA 10 LeBron was $600 a month ago and now it’s a $1K card. Raw copies are over $300. I wouldn’t be shocked if the same thing happened with the Slam inserts. Not to say they’ll be worth as much as Net Marvels in a true dollar sense, but I don’t think the prices will completely tank with more supply.

Haha I wish. Probably poorly worded. 1 blaster and 7 fat packs.

Teal Explosions are fat pack exclusives and purple explosions are mega exclusives. The fat packs were out in the wild earlier than megas, which are just starting to surface this week. That's why there's the delay. No idea on print run, though.

Maybe the Slam insert PARALLELS will be like Net Marvels, but the base might be low end fairly quickly . . . unless the whole hype about second best thing happens.

3 fatpacks, 2 slams and the Lebron is a holo. Also opened one pack last week which also had Lamelo and a base Lebron slam

So what is the consensus average on the inserts? Like 1 per... 80 cards? Per 100? I have zero interest in paper hoops of this rookie class, these inserts are probably the only thing I want from this year so far. Maybe I’ll wait for more product to get opened and people get their fill before making a set

Default First Buzz: 2020-21 NBA Hoops basketball cards

Found gravity feeders at two different stores on Friday. I see they have numbered cards from 75 to 20 in them. Anybody rip these yet? If so, how often do the numbered cards fall?

Which type of store has the gravity feeds, and what’s the price on those?

Slowly waiting on the slam cards to decrease in price. Planning on making the set! I hope they make hoops premium stock again this year with these slam inserts

Found an empty display box at Walmart .

This time last year wasn’t buying hoops. Now still not buying hoops. More things change more they stay the same .

Sorry if it’s been asked. Are the teal out of these more SP than 2019-2020? I see Lamelo is $400 while Zion RC is $100. I get the “new shiny toy” idea but that’s quite a discrepancy.

It's happening pretty quickly, the Shaq Slam Holo I watched folks pay $120 at auction for it 1-2 days ago, and now there's the same card with the lowest BIN price of $55.
