I asked the same thing a couple days ago. P70 is bringing us together if nothing else haha.

But I’m also sitting here going, maybe I’ll preorder artist sets for Ermsy, Naturel, and Fucci from Wheeler so I have their complete baseball card sets. But then I’m definitely pot committed to buy any other cards they ever do; it’s a real struggle with the need to complete things right now.

So in P2020, if you did just the first 100 cards you'd have about 5 each (not Don C), but with P70 you wouldn't even avg 2 cards per artist. Its crazy how big this set is. If you did all of P2020, that's not even 40% of P70. I can't get over how enormous this set will be.

I'm enjoying this. JK5's Guerrero is great. I love seeing that it cracked top 5 all time for the colonel. I just think that the artists will do much better than the folks designing, e.g. 1986 topps did, at selecting images to base art on.

Oli - you and I have different kinds of friends - not sure bobby hundreds error spotting poster game would fly with mine, but it's fun to imagine that life.

I bought a 3-pack on day one and so it's nice I get until sunday to decide on any others. Day 2 was ez-pass for me but today all 3 are interesting or good. I bought a /50 of Hurt Blob because I think it's a great companion to my Sand Blob.

I'm also glad the pigeon question in my head got answered so soon. And thanks to the comment earlier pointing me to the photo of the hawk with the pigeon prey. That was fun.

The struggle. Live and in person. Snagged the Efdot companions...with the Blob comeback, I'm surprised you could still bail. I'm still thinking on the Sophia Oaktown. Been browsing APs and all the Griffey autos that have appeared. RESISSSSSST.

I just don’t think the set makes sense as a whole, and the couple that don’t fit would drive me nuts. I’m all or nothing. Was happy to grab the Koufax print instead to take the place of the set. I’ll be happy with the one rather than the 20 card companion run.

I really don't know how to feel about the print offer. A couple of them could actually be cool, like the alex pardee one. "nightmare fuel" as described to me by don. But it's also kind of crazy to casually spend $319-400 on 20 cards just to get one more piece of memorabilia that almost no one would understand why it's being displayed.

You too are a museum. Do not question it. Just display and store and buy and buy and buy. Stack boxes in the back to display later.

You may be able to curate a Vides theme for the entire place, using the black TP2020 boxes and the new white TP70 boxes.

What I think they should do... give away the wrapper cards to people who buy the other 18 cards. It's almost sadistic that Topps is forcing people to buy them in order to complete the artist set.

My next house, will have one of those obnoxiously great basements with a wet bar and memorabilia hung on all vertical planes. Framed Beckett magazines. Framed P2020 artist originals.
