Yeah, I have to say, folks in card culture are understandably myopic toward prospects. You really can get voted in to the all-star game as a rookie, and Zion's not getting voted in as a 2nd year player like Trae did last year despite Trae having no business being seen as a Top 2 guard in the East at the time. That's a statement about the limits of his popularity at present. (Luka made it too, but he deserved it.)

If Zion becomes an all-timer I expect that to change, but his actual basketball popularity outside of card culture isn't THAT overwhelming.
