Default 1989 Bowman Tiffany Griffey Most Overlooked / Undervalued Card ?

I see the 1989 Upper Deck PSA 10 Griffey's going for about $5,000.
That is a level I never thought I would see.

With that cards population about to push over 4,000 and the Griffey Bowman Tiffany PSA 10 sitting at a population of only 156, how is that not at least a $30,000 - $40,000 card?

I see this card as by far his best and most rare rookie with only 6,000 tiffany sets made. Surprised the market has not caught onto this one as much?

The upper deck is iconic for several reasons. The bowman has a couple things going against it, it is oversized, it is technically a parallel and has never been a favorite. Yes the Tiffany is limited but there has to be demand and as of yet the demand is not as great as the upper deck. With everything blowing up you never know

Many of the new money coming into the hobby is from people that have no idea what a Tiffany card is or how few sets were actually produced. Unfortunately, many articles and websites continue to have information that about Tiffany cards that is wrong. The only website that I have found that has accurate info on each set is www.tiffanycards.com

although rare in grade, this has long been one of Griffey’s least popular Cards. Kinda’ big and dorky ....

Probably because it's hideous. No iconic cards are hideous. JMHO

Is the slab the same size for both cards?

Rarity and population do not nearly matter to the extent many people think it does.

It is important to know that card values are normally subjective in a way that maximizes profit.

I am sure there are instances of other players rookies that have much lower pops that are quite undervalued compared to their 'iconic rookie'. At the end of the day, a person mentions Griffey rookie 98.7% of people think of the 89 Upper Deck.
