I don't think that's true. Very easy to tell apart imo

That's true. You could just not take a back picture, provide zero written description, and in caps write SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS and I'm sure a lot of people will buy it thinking "At the very least, it's got to be a 9, right? I mean, everything comes out of a pack these days at least Mint" and the final price would definitely be higher than in a 7 slab.

Not taking a shot at you, Sean, just all the people that would do exactly what I described annnnnnd argue that there's nothing wrong with it.

Arthur
I bought the card on Ebay and it had multiple photos and was described as "like new." There was no description and no "flaws" were listed/described. I find this is how most cards are sold on Ebay that are "raw" and I am buying knowing there are ranges of condition it could be in. I saw the white on some of the corners and thought it would be at least a solid PSA8 and pulled the trigger. I don't have any regrets because I never expect GEM MT cards when buying "raw" So if anything you would be taking a shot at the person who sold it to me.

Good thing I am not all people (still have not sold a single card). Not planning on selling this card anytime soon either. Just wanted to get advice if it was better to grade and hope for a PSA8 or just to keep raw.

I promise if I ever do sell it on Ebay I won't take a grainy picture of the just the front with no back picture with the caption "PSA 10?"

Regular chrome is a much harder gem. Now that you mention that, I’m not sure if I would trade my chrome 9 for a sapphire 9 but objectively, it’s probably the right play.

Your pictures are of a base sapphire and a orange sapphire.

I also said I prefer the regular Sapphire to the Orange version. The Sapphire design is more readily apparent in the regular version. The difference between a regular Chrome and Sapphire is more apparent than for an orange chrome and a Sapphire chrome.

I don't know what made you think I was speaking to that when I posted two oranges.

Anyway, sure, subjective I guess.

It's all part of the same argument.

Man, Nail biting time.

I sent a Topps Chrome Rookie Auto Blue into BGS in mid October on 10 day service. New one popped in today as a 9.5/10 in the pop report.

Dear lord let it be mine.

Does 10 day service seriously take 4 months?

Jaw dropping collection here, just amazing. I'm taking notes! Here's my 1st tribute. I know a lot of people moan when they see Chronicles but I like this because I pulled this myself and I think the Sandwich company chose a decent photo to hide the obvious.
