Already the odds on favorites to win it next year at +550. Just need to get Fish, Mitch, and LDT back and add a few more pieces to the D and we'll be fine. The days of praying for playoff wins are over.

Lots of thoughts from everyone regarding prices. I'll give my two cents - if you bought anything in the last two weeks under 5k, sorry. It'll take a while to recoup your money. He needs to win another SB fast. In the next 2 years.

Brady has lost 3. Lebron has lost more. It happens. He'll be fine, but this absolutely puts the brakes on his hobby momentum.

He is not Russell Wilson. He is not Jimmy G. He's going to win more. Hopefully soon.

It's silly at this point to complain that the loss isn't his fault - history primarily pays attention to wins and losses with some stats mixed in. SB Losers don't get mulligans.

Considering how bad the Chiefs and Mahomes looked, I was amazed at how well he protected the ball until it got down to desperation. Honestly, those two throws - one falling forward, and one on his side parallel to the ground are some of the most amazing throws I've ever seen, and they were both almost TDs.

I agree they need to win another FAST - mainly because of contract concerns. You wonder how many guys will be willing to take less than what's available on the open market if they're not winning SBs. On the bright side, I hope this curbs their cockiness a bit and shows them just how hard it actually is to win a Super Bowl.

This Chiefs team is a lot like the late 90's Packers, they had a great all time thrower in Favre and lets face it in today's NFL he would be Mahomes. Favre never got back to the SB after being beat by Elway in the 2nd straight SB they were in. Noticed Favre isn't talked about much anymore, it's because they never made it back. I fear the same will happen to Mahomes, don't be shocked if they finish 3rd in their division next year, superbowl hangovers are legit. Vegas is going to be improved, they beat KC this year, Denver if they ever got a legit QB could give KC a run for their money. KC's defense was horrible in this game and got beat up and proved that if you get in Mahomes face he rushes his throws a la Favre, I take the field in the AFC next year.

They need to address the O-line. It looked terrible yesterday. As far as prices go, his low end, Prizm/Optic/XRC base and parallels should drop since they went up too much in the last two weeks. On the positive side, it took Lebron 9 years to win his first championship. Mahomes is only in his 4th year and he already has one under his belt.

What’s crazy is you think it’s easy to get back to super bowl. Kansas City is done put a fork in them. You have much more talented teams out there in afc. You think other coaches anit studying or watching film on Kansas right now. They look awful if all you need to do is double the key wr. Cleveland browns should’ve beaten Kansas City that’s how bad they’re but was cheated by refs. I’m tired of hearing Kansas City qb who is a one year wonder. He’s at his peak like Seattle qb Wilson was.

I am proud of him also! I know exactly how you feel! That bandwagon crowd was often the loudest of all of us. Jumping on other peoples threads talking crap about the other QBs. I even had to tell my son on Saturday night to just stop talking nonsense LOL I was listening to him bash the Bucs and how Mahomes is the best. I told him “son, you have made the cardinal sin in Football. Never doubt Brady...”

I also had to mention that our O-Line was going to be in trouble against JPP and the rest on that Bucs D Line. It was hard to watch, and then you go on the Brady thread and there were a lot of regulars from here talking Brady prices. This is not a hobby anymore. no loyalty to sports teams. People just seeing money. I can tell you this, I own a few Brady RC and I am not happy one bit that he won tonight. I was hoping it wouldn’t hurt as much as it did last night, nope I was wrong. Imagine poor Shannon Sharpe today going into face Skip Bayless.....

This is a terrible take. The Browns only came back because Mahomes got hurt. He was eating the Browns alive. Tonight they missed having a healthy Sammy Watkins. The Oline was decimated. I wonder what would have happen with mahomes was on the Bucs and Brady was playing for the chiefs tonight. No excuses, but they were worn down this year. Every week they got the best version of their opponents, wanting to take down the champs. This a huge reason why their hasn’t been back to back champs in so long. Next year we will be doubted again and watch out.

Lol good, not true, but I love that take on the game! Lol Brady did, what Brady does. Vintage Fournette and Jones help a lot to. I also think the chiefs D had a hand in the loss as well. Never give Brady the those extra chances.... The chiefs offence, well I think they took that game off... could not have been a worse time to play their worst game in at least 3 years.

Elite stuff will do fine, largely because it's not going to come up for sale as frequently as it has in recent months.

The rest is going to take a hit. Just wait until late March, early April when baseball starts and basketball approaches the postseason. It was not in the cards for the Chiefs this time. Too many injuries to overcome a perfect game from the Bucs. It was delusional to think the O-line wouldn't be an issue, and it proved to be the biggest issue (game is a lot different if they scored a TD on one or two of those first half drives).

Hard to be worried about one bad game by someone who is statistically off to the best start for a QB in the history of the game. He'll be right back at it next year.

Lots of good points, probably worse case scenario for us Mahomes holders. Out of all the games I've watched him play, he probably took the biggest hit I've seen as well. Fantasy land for person that thinks Mahomes cards only drop 5%. They would have dropped 5-10% WITH a SB win.

Wish there weren't 3 damn drops by the receivers including his side arm hurl as he was falling to the ground. The bad omen and distractions with Reid's son and the COVID scares had to play a role as well.
