500 Dollar Tree Pack Experiment Update:
I ended up opening all of the 3 card retail S1 packs. Unfortunately I did not open the Black Knight which was the point of the chase BUT...I did get many other GOOD cards. All will be available for sale

Given the Aoki sale yes I think it’s legit. But yea UDSA print gets bought up quickly.

Crazy if yes. This is my case I found over summer. I've ordered some Italy megs from overseas that have shown up in case boxes used to ship, and it appears the Italy cases were 8 box cases and different labeling so I'm 99% certain these are the USA megas unless I'm missing something entirely. Only say that as I haven't seen another.

Box is a bit beat up on the outside but having received some actual megas where the box is dinged, contents usually untouched so I have no doubt everything is resting nicely inside. At this point I think I have to sit on it being the only one I've come across. Anybody have any idea why there wouldn't be more of these? I was wondering if they just weren't coveted enough to sell as cases and they needed to be pieced off one box at a time.

S2 has really grown on me. The valuable cards are more common plus optichromes. Seeing S2 dry up so fast has been interesting.

Felt like a hail mary purchase at the time and I'm awful at holding sealed so just glad to still have er intact.

I can't tell with the bids what's going on with the box at auction but back down to $560, looks like $290 could even be the actual high bidder right now. Prob have to wait for close to see what final price and bidding history looks like but worth monitoring if there's going to be suspicious activity along the way.

Mega boxes - 2 cracked ice cards (on average) per box

1) Mega boxes take priority because of the cracked ice. You get less of everything else though. - trending $150-180

2) If you’re chasing parallels, fat pack boxes have 1 to 3 ratio for parallels per box except you get 244 cards vs 144 cards in a Hobby box. - trending $150-175

3) Hobby Box - I’ve been buying mostly these given what the price point was in comparison. As noted above, better $ per card, but you only get 1/3 of the parallel cards you get in a fat pack box. - trending $80-90

4) Blasters - trending $15-20

5) loose packs

Also wanted to add the price point comparison Ive noticed over the past four weeks

- Megas - $35 to $150
- Fat pack box - $80 to $150
- Hobby box - $50 to $80
- Blaster - $15-$15+

Don’t really follow loose packs enough. Interesting to see the variance in the jumps. I think we’re about to see another jump because these are getting hard to find and Fortnite is one of the biggest games, if not the biggest at the moment. Go search the web for Hobby boxes. Can’t find them hardly at all anymore except a few on eBay.

I agree with this order. Megas will always be king just because they have the exclusive cracked ice. Also agreeing that any sealed s2 is due for a huge rise in prices. Top tier legendary cards are to the moon now. These are all comps from the past few days.
-Ice king and Queen base cards both at around 50$ ea
-Ultima Knight base ending at 102 on auction and people hitting bins at similar prices
-Ultima Opti ended at 730 on bid
-Ice King Foil for 400.
-Ice King Cracked ice 1100
-Ice Queen Cracked ice 650

These have def caught my eye. I think I ended up with 4 IQ holos, 1 Opti, 2 ice, 6 base (pulled two IQ base from six blasters recently which was cool - those seem like great buys at $10).

Just 2 IK base, no Ult Knight. Ugh.

My better IQ ice is being express so def has a 10 shot. Feels like a hold if it hits and damn I'm wishing I grabbed more S2 right about now.
