Was incredibly fortunate today that I was able to snag a copy of the Frison variant for Doctor Aphra 7. I'm never in a position to get to my LCS at or near open, and when i arrived at 11:15 I figured his 2-3 copies would be long gone.

It's definitely a beauty!

i know people with direct diamond accounts order a case and they get 1 box if lucky

Books are selling in 9.8 for 2x what they were a month ago, so I'd say it's getting some heat!

The Killer from Archaia Press who brought the series to the USA from France appears to be moving forward as a Netflix property from David Fincher and Andrew Kevin Walker. Years ago Brad Pitt was very interested in bringing an adaptation from his production company to be released by Paramount but that didn't get off the ground.

The first series was 10 issues in length and the follow-up series called Modus Vivendi ran 6 issues. Archaia was a small publisher at the time, and I remember the series had a pretty small print run. Issues can be quite hard to find, especially #1 from the first series so anyone interested may want to check your local comic store back issue bins just in case. When it was first offered in Previews quite some time ago I felt it sounded intriguing enough to pick up a dozen or so copies, so I am glad I kept them.

Not really following this series, but I like this cover by Peach Momoko.
I read somewhere that this 1 in 25 of the 3rd printing might've been under-ordered, but still available at Midtown for 90 and ebay at around 60-70.

I just saw that tonight at my lcs for $125.
They over price stuff all the time.
They had the venom movie comic giveaway under their counter for $70. I went down about 2 miles to another store and bought 3 for $5.50 each they had since last summer.

Chump change compared to what West Coast Avengers 45 has spiked to!

The MCU effect is crazy. Is it likely Tales of Suspense 57 will do similar? Or has it peaked since the movies? Its a grail that always seems to be just out of my price range.

True, but for a book that's only 4-5 months old, it's quite remarkable.

The WCA will start to drop by the week after this Friday. If Vision gets a new future in the MCU movies, it will spike again but no reason that book should be worth that much especially when the avengers 57 is undervalued at times.

when you cant afford the first appearance, you get the next best thing. this book started trending after infinity wars and will probably burn out a few weeks after this week's episode. it really depends on how the episode plays out, whether vision dies or has potential to be a part of the young avengers team.

Batman Fortnite crossover comic should be hot. For those not aware each issue comes with a code for a unique item. Redeeming all 6 nets a special Batman skin. The first book has a Harley skin. Don’t think the book itself will create the value. Having a set though will definitely make these desired.

Not sure. There are 3 of each cover with one being a “premium” cover. I’ve read rumors about the possibility that different covers could have different items but not able to confirm that. They run presale from 3s to 4s dollar wise so may be worth diving on 1 of each. Who knows. However my son and his friends are big fortnight people and apparently it is a pretty well known item the players are going after. I’ve heard the “sweats” all want the Harley skin. Damn I’m so old....

It is just a hot book with list of 1st appearances. Retail is shooting up to crazy prices. I had one grade 9.2 and a retail 9.6 last year and I am glad I still have them.

One to be aware of...

Batman Fortnite Zero Point #1 could be a real sleeper.

Traditionally Batman and Spider-man fight for the #1 spot in comic sales each month, they both are at the top, consistently multiple titles in the top 10 month to month. Add on top of that the surprise hit videogame Fortnite and this thing could be pure fire.

Releases on 4/21/21

Has three covers. Base, Variant, and Premium Variant
