The team needs to make the playoffs in order to get playoff wins. As mentioned, that game was there's in 2014 vs. Dallas.

Unlike the NBA, in the NFL you can't have 1 dominate guy and everything else falls into place, it's a true team sport. That's what's frustrating to me is when people say a QB should be able to lead his to the SB. That's not going to happen unless all phases of the team are solid.

It's no secret that the Lions are one of the worst franchises in sports. Let's see what happens in LA. I'm excited to see him on a solid squad. If he doesn't get in done there i'll shut up LOL.

They've been there 3 times.

It's true that basketball isn't football. It's also true that there isn't a single position on the field more important than QB.

And no one's saying Super Bowl. There's nothing great about not winning a SINGLE playoff game in 12 years.

There's no doubt that the Lions are, and have been, a mess. There's also no doubt that Stafford is physically talented. He's big, strong, can make the throws. #1 pick, 4000 yards, 5000 yards.. these things don't happen by accident. It's if he can turn that into something that's beyond the back of his football card. So far, he hasn't.

Rams Seahawks this year should count as a playoff win for Goff. He played the majority of the game and it was 0-0 when he came in. Instead, Wolford now has more “playoff wins” than Stafford.

Had to come out of hiding b/c no one is giving Stafford any credit.

Eh I quit arguing with these guys about Stafford, every year they always have a new hotness that is better than Stafford and a year or 2 later they are out of the league or riding the bench while Stafford is still starting and breaking records on one of the worst teams in sports. Of course the QB should be able to carry a team with one of the worst running games every single year and a defense that when the opposing team needs a big play they let them have it. Big play Slay lol....how did that work out for Philly?

I remember when you used to argue that Stafford was better than Rodgers.

Well apparently the Rams tried to trade for Rodgers first but the Packers said no. So there is a link.

And I still think Rodgers has had a better team from start to finish let alone an organization that helped him more than the Lions have helped Stafford. What happens if Stafford happens to win one SB with the Rams and actually makes it deep into the playoffs while Rodgers flounders in GB or some where else or retires? Stafford ain't done & I would argue the Rams are a better team than the Lions by a mile at this point.
