As someone that has been collecting his cards from the beginning, pretty funny seeing this. Not picking on you, but those holding his cards have asked this over and over. His prices just continue heading in one direction.

It depends if you need the money. Then sell. If not, hold on. He IS the Jordan of Football. I promise his cards will all be worth significantly more in 20 years then they are now.

So I wasn't just nuts seeing a Chrome PSA 9 sell for $6k then.

Wow. These jumped from $2000 in December to $6k now late January.

I have been also. I bought the chrome psa 8 I am considering selling for $12 back in 2001 from a card shop. I sat on it for 15 years to watch the price go to about $500 raw. Finally got it graded this year, only to see the prices hover around 1.5k now I'm getting offers over 3k. I don't need the money, but I also don't want to hold this another 20 years. I'm talking short term (2-5 year) peak.

I would hold until after the super bowl, but if you follow basketball, LeBron rookies went way down post finals win. Everyone is holding and waiting to flood the market if he wins. I know the pop counts are low, but there are only I think 2 psa 8 listed now. If he wins, and that number jumps to even a dozen, how many people will realistically pay $3900 for a psa 8? I don't know, and I don't want to be caught in a race to the bottom.

In that situation, if you intend to sell anyways in the short term. I'd unload it now. If he wins the Super Bowl as the underdog and has a great game, his prices will surely leap but you'll still have $3k in your pocket.

I'm just too attached to all mine. It's a weakness

with the giant run ups on Bowman Chrome, do you think the BC refractor has now moved above the SPA into second place behind Contenders? The refractor was incredibly hard to pull

It was already in second place from a dollar perspective. The Refractor is such an extremely rare card, you just don't see a lot of sales. And because it's a parallel, it's usually exempted from a lot top ten lists.

This is a market correction for the card - it will only go up in value. Possibly another spike if Brady wins the SB - steady from that point forward.

If you want to sell and take a nice profit - there is no shame in selling now.

If you want an iconic card that will continue to increase in value with the market and inflation (think Jordan Fleer 86 or Lebron Chrome 2003) - hold.

Man and Impact PSA 10's are $2k now. Wow. I gave one of these raw to my brother as a Christmas gift one year lol. I still have another raw.

Look, honestly, Brady prices are at an all time high now. I do not think they beat the Chiefs, and if that happens, his prices will come back down...some. Reason why I think about selling my Chrome PSA 9, taking the $6k and running, looking to rebuy if they lose.

Of course, if they win, oh boy. I see his prices surging more. No modern player of his status has won 7 championships.
