I must of missed the key plays on defense, the only key play I saw made by the packers defense was the one with 8 seconds to go in the 1st half.

his intangibles are off the charts. these other guys don't compare save for Joe Montana.

Check out rodgers record when he's behind in the 4th quarter. it isn't pretty. he's been in the league long enough that you can't claim shortage of data. He's a classic front runner. Now, if his intangibles were as high or higher than brady, you'd expect a better record attempting to bring his team back. Brady's the ultimate competitor with a plethora of comebacks in his career.

"you play to win the game"

"you judge quarterbacks by wins"

Brady wins AND has stats.

No, MJ was a world wide phenomenon. Brady is the GOAT in football but not comparable. MJ was just different. If you were not around you just can’t comprehend. I’m guessing it’s like when the Beatles came out and the world loved them, MJ was the same.

The, my, Packers certainly did not "play to win the game"....

Heartbreaking

Congrats to the Buccaneers & Tom Brady... better team, today!

In all honesty though, you take Brady's stats today... 9 times out of 10, that results in a loss... just not today!

After 20 years, it’s not just luck any more. Luck goes both ways. It was luck that Eli won in ‘07 and ‘11.

MJ is not as accomplished as Brady. Brady owns or will own every regular and postseason record for passing and MJ only was a conference champ 6 times,Brady 10 times! Enough said he failed to make the Finals way more years than he made it Brady is at 50% let that sink in!

That is the argument many use to discredit Lebron as GOAT and it will be used even if Lebron wins six titles. MJ won six out six championships and was the finals MVP in all six. Jordan is at a different level than Brady imo. Let's just say Brady is the current GOAT of football and not compare Brady and Jordan. Brady is not in any "top 10 greatest athletes of all time" ranking, whereas Jordan is.

Disclaimer: I own cards of Lebron, Jordan and Brady

I don’t think it’s possible to compare a football player to a basketball player. Jordan and Brady are the GOATs of each of their sports. But to say Brady lost 3 times in a super bowl as some sort of negative is crazy talk. Why is it better to lose before the championship vs in the championship?

This is an apples to oranges comparison.

Jordan played offense & defense as an NBA player on a 5-man lineup with a rotation of ~9 - 10 guys who ever even saw the hard court on those Bulls championship teams. He could essentially take over games single handedly at both ends of the court.

Even though QB is the most important position in football, Brady can't play defense or kick field goals or play special teams or compensate for the bulk of the other 52 guys on his roster...

Different players. Different leagues. Different games. Different rules.

The dude is 43 years old ! Where was the Marino’s and aikmans and such at that age ? Not playing for a super bowl ! We all know he is not the Brady of years past ( New England thought so as well) but to reach another super bowl in his first year with a new team ! New system and new players come on

Cant believe Tommy Boy threw 3 interceptions and still won...has that been done before? He threw one b/c he didnt want to get hit when he was in pocket. Never seen that before not in playoffs. He yelled at the ref for getting hit. He's a joke. He got suspended for cheating in playoffs. Biggest cheater of all time in football.

Yes, Brady is 3-1 in playoff games in which he throws three or more interceptions.

It's not. Brady has separated himself from everyone else in his profession by wide ridiculous margins. Jordan doesn't have the most titles-by far, most points, most well anything.

I agree with most of what you said ! Jordan was transcendent ! No one like him and no one probably will ever be ! Brady on the other hand was not transcendent ! Not flashy and not fast so just another long number of quarterbacks ! But one of the best if not the best at the position so i disagree with you on Brady not in the top 10 greatest athletes but that’s the best part we are all free to choose and like and suggest what we think ! For us to debate there names they way we do means they made there stamp on the game !

Montana threw 3 INTs before he finally pulled ahead with “the Catch” to Dwight Clark. People are conveniently forgetting that.

What nba put a dang ball in a hoop or freaked dunk. Give me a break nba has the worst talent and where being deform tall is asset.
Baseball be only closets thing you can compare to Brady. Hit a round ball with a round bat skill.

I am not denying what you are saying. When I mentioned top or greatest athletes of all time ranking, I was referring to various polls out there. Ali, Jordan, LeBron, Gretzky, Federer, Pele, Usain Bolt, Phelps, Tiger woods are in the top 20 but not Brady. None of my friends in my country know who Brady is but they all know Ali, Jordan, LeBron, Federer, Bolt and Tiger woods . But again, it may not mean anything.

Brady did everything today that would have cost 99.9% of quarterbacks to be doing a post game press confernce about their loss...

But, we have discussions about him being a GOAT because he's going to his 10th Super Bowl...

His defense bailed his old azz out...

Plain and simple...

System guarterback... always has been, always will be...

Joker with rings, thanks to great teams..

GOAT? Nope!
