Also someone is slowly donating all their beachbody dvds. Don’t like to sell those on eBay due to Vero issues but they do well on Mercari so I picked up another one today

Do you use magic erasers? They will get any marker off pretty easily. They also work well for yellowing on mid and outsoles.

Yeah that’s what I use and I got some of it off vs all of it off like some of them. Shoes in my area are $4.99-$14.99. The Nikes run $6.99-$14.99. These were the $6.99

The case they give you to take home the rental disc? My local store is tossing those in when you buy the movie. They take off the magnetic lock and give you the case, the disc and the original case with cover art. I think I have bought around 15 movies so far... Going back next week when they shut down a store and consolidate the inventory into my local store.

Dang that must be some strong stuff. If you guys and gals have the capital, I would also suggest going for the latest sneakers releases via Nike SNKRS, Adidas etc. Very little effort and time for profits ranging from $60 to possibly $1k plus depending on what you hit.

I think these were the actual bluray cases from when they get multiples of the new releases and put them in the rental cases. Yeah, I bought some movies for my nieces yesterday and they threw in the rental cases with the actual movie cases. I've actually thought about going in and asking what they will take for the rest of the store.

They must do things different than our store. Every copy of a release is kept with their original case.

Good luck on trying to buy the inventory!

That is insane. I live in a little country town so I guess they don't send my Walmart much product. $3K in retail product, I can't even imagine what that looked like!

Is anyone else having significant problems with USPS? I know they still say on their website they have delays but I have two packages that left my local sorting facility 8 days ago with no new updates. Even leading up to Xmas I didn't have any delays like this, especially at my local sorting facility. The worst I saw was one package that got held up at the Dallas sorting facility for like 5 days. Not sure if I should be concerned here. I am worried that I am going to start getting messages on ebay with upset buyers. Plus these are my first two sales of 2021 so if I default on these my account rating is going to take a huge hit as I don't sell much.

Everyone has had issues. Numerous stories on the news sites and several threads here. As long as your package shows accepted within your stated handling time Ebay is doing what they can to help you. If this happens if a buyer opens a claim they will noy make a decision until 10 days have passed since the last scan. If they force a refund and it is later delivered they will remove any strikes you got and for the most part will refund you.

I had at one point back in December 46 items that were in Dallas for 15 days plus. Dallas was one of the sites that was severely backed up some centers had over 100 semi trailers of mail they could not even start to process.

Dallas is awful. I have 2-3 packages stuck there right now. It's frustrating but they usually all start moving at some point.

I just had in international buyer through Global Shipping open a claim when he did not receive his package 4 days after payment was submitted.

Due to my work schedule I often have to rely on my mail carrier to scan in my packages. These last two month have been awful in that regard as she usually does not scan them. This week I mailed out 6 packages in one day and she didn't scan any of them. Luckily 5 of the packages were scanned at the sorting facility but of course the one that didn't get scanned was my $180 sale.

I have been lucky and haven't had any late packages, but I am waiting on 3 packages, all from California, that havent moved since they were scanned in 2 weeks ago.

Goodwill was packed today and loads of new inventory. Unfortunately I didn’t have too much time. I picked up some foot joy NWT shoes, yes I paid up at $20 but I think I can get about 70 for them. The fun part is the sharpie removal. Looks like it is more like a sharpie paint pen so I think I’ll do nail polish removal. Also picked up some goretex military boots for $10. They comp at about $40. Almost bought some ariat boots at $14.99 but they were a little worn and I’d only make about $15 profit after fees. There were new clothes rack everywhere and 3 carts of new shoes

Grabbed this today for 99 cents. Very rare find. 135,000 of them made in 1980 and they were quickly pulled from shelves and banned.

I went around 2:30 to my local goodwill they said they had been busy all day. Probably at capacity or past capacity which is 50 but they had tons of new inventory. I didn’t have enough time to look at the new clothes as I was was focused on the shoes. The goodwill I hit is in a wealthier area so they always have nice things

Anyone good with legos? Picked up a random bunch of minifigs. Does anyone have any idea what sets or what figs these are? Yes I know one is Spider-Man but there are dozens and I can’t find this one. Any help is appreciated.

Green guy beside spidey is green goblin. The rest look like lego city/random lego mini figures but the gold sword looks like it’s from the ninjago line.

Basic sets are almost always where yellow heads originate. Licensed sets do not use the yellow heads.

Local Goodwill used to have jerseys and sportscards every so often. Have not seen anything since they went to their new floor layout.

Is it possible this stuff is hitting their website only now?

I’m pretty sure that’s the case. Same with mine. No longer has any higher priced items. Judging by their website, I have a pretty good idea where the good stuff skimmed off goes.
