Congrats, good call. There were some big sellers dumping back in October/November last year when I scooped up some 9's. Should have kept buying.

I'm glad I bought a good amount of Vlads at shows in November/December when prices were low... saw a Heritage RC end at $8, double what they were two weeks ago.

Definitely room to grow, once he starts playing a lot better...becomes a future face of the game...makes $300M...and is a MVP contender on a playoff team. But definitely something to keep an eye on.

Only two stats he lead the Jays with last year are AB & triples.

Other than that, statistically he was the 5th/6th best player on that team last year. This is his third year in and it appears pitching staffs have figured him out for the most part.

Lolololol. Figured him out? I’m sure when they ask the opposing pitcher who they don’t want to face on the jays with the game on the line, he’s the sixth name they say right after Danny Jensen.

To be fair, Jansen was ahead of him by +1 in walks in 2020. So, yes?

He's still young and will hopefully figure things out. But, right now . . . He's the behind other studs like LGJ / Bo on the team in terms of actually delivering on the hype.

Moved some of my Vlad TC Autos recently.

Blue PSA 10
Blue Wave BGS 9.5
Green BGS 9.5

Still holding plenty of NNO, and other graded Vlad stuff.

If you’re no longer a Vladdy believer then get out while you can. Many cards have nearly doubled over the past 1-2 weeks. It may be too late to cash in once spring training starts up and everyone sees that he hasn’t improved any.

...or he may come out crushing balls.

I’ll continue to add as I see good deals to be had.

Either way, best of luck in your decision.

Hopefully you don’t regret moving the autos. I just have a PSA 10 Blue and raw refractor auto in my PC. Most of my collection is made up of the items in my signature block along with parallels/sp’s. Holding strong for at least a 5 bagger before I consider moving any. Already nearly doubled alone off of hype/anticipation just this past week.

Nice, you pay $50? I see these getting a nice bump in the future. I grabbed two more this past week (1 raw and 1 PSA 9). Both for what I’d consider a really good price.

Yup, I got it for $50! I also just picked up a Vladdy 2019 Heritage action PSA 9 for only $60 on MySlabs. I feel like a got a great deal on that one too!

I think you looked at the wrong part of his post. You focused on $8, not the doubling of price.

If the base raw doubled, it's probably likely that graded copies doubled as well.
