I’m aware it’s because the run game is so effective, and he isn’t a volume passer. But if he does figure it out, he doesn’t have a trash rating next to his name like an Allen after two years. Helps long term. On the other hand he isn’t built to last longterm. Allen is also very smart, like top wondelric score smart. Lamar is not, and it won’t help his advancement.

Fact 3: NFL defenses are slow react to new styles of play, but they always adapt.

Fact 4: Unless the rules drastically change, the only style of QB play that will consistently find success against NFL defenses is the drop-back pocket passer who can go through their reads quickly. Mobility is a plus, but it is always balanced against the triple risks of injuries, wearing down, and being too quick to abandon the pocket.

Fact 5: Baltimore’s coaches did a FANTASTIC job last season in surrounding their unconventional young QB with an offense that maximized that unconventional style. It’s why they took the league by storm and Jackson was MVP.

Fact 6: Jackson’s style isn’t compatible with long-term success. NFL defenses have figured out how to neutralize his unconventional style.

Fact 7: People who were paying Mahomes Jr. prices for Jackson are dumb.
Still true.

I had to look it up because for some reason I thought he had a cannon and was shocked he can only throw 70. When I was younger I regularly get 65. And even at 40 with both my knees having major damage without ever getting surgery I still can still throw 55 and I'm not a big guy.

Yeah it’s a regular season award, Lamar had a better regular season. Just like the MVP

You do realize the longest pass in the air in the history of the NFL is 70 yards right? And that was Baker's incomplete hail mary.
