Probably a dumb question but I assume this will be worth hunting for retail wise as hobby will probably be expensive?

Actually been getting really excited for this set.
Remembering that one of my favorite sticker collections to collect would be this one.
Cup photo on the sticker to indicate which competition they played in that season.

It was about time we got a true nostalgic set.

That is very interesting. I wonder how many different retail variations we get? I have feeling there will be a lot of this product.

My guess is there will be (in order of probability):

- Regular Hobby (1 auto per box)
- Blaster/Mega Boxes (autos - limited or none, limited parallels as there will be "hobby-only" parallels)
- Value Rack Packs (no autos & limited parallels)

- Jumbo Hobby Boxes (more than 1 auto per box) **I find this as least likely because of how hard it is to get thousands of autographs (compared to baseball) but we shall see. **

I have zero interest in this product as well...I will just buy singles as I feel necessary

Blowout doing what they do best...one day a box is $250, the next $325

... and it begins. They will SKU the HECK out of Merlin. And I applaud that. If this market is going to explode, then we need something other than 10 different versions of Topps Chrome giving us 85 parallels of the same card, ultimately.

I mean - that will happen, too... but I'd prefer product diversity over SKU diversity.

Just pre-ordered blasters on Toywiz. $30 (on Toywiz, possibly cheaper if you have a better source) seems like a no-brainer over hobby. Blasters give you 31 cards while Hobby is 72 cards for $250 or $300 or whatever it ends up being. No auto of course but that's a reasonable trade-off.

Could end up being a mediocre product but I can't imagine this being an easy product to find in stores come June. Worth a risk IMO.

Longtime to go until June! We have what, eight soccer products coming before this? Also, with a retail option, Topps will drop Hobby and whatever retail versions on their site the day of release. We should be able to pick something up on Topps at MSRP.

My feel is the same - hoping plenty is produced and will look to get direct. If I miss out, so be it, I'll go for singles. Ripping is just more fun!
