It’s tough to tell because for a lot of players, their cards don’t seem to come up for sale very often, but: It seems to me that the downtown inserts from 2019 One and One are commanding at least equal and in many cases higher prices than the earlier downtown/from downtown inserts from studio and cornerstone...do you guys agree with this or am I just missing comps?

Is this just a temporary thing since the product is new...or perhaps because One and One is a higher end product?

I think what happened was people were already sick of the price gouging this year and we all said we're not paying $500 for 2 cards now i wish I bought a whole case instead.

Opened two boxes at $475 each and got the heat in a random team break... pulled a Coby White Patch Auto /35.... Paul Pierce Timeless Moments redemption... and a Bam Adebayo gold /10. Not bad at all...

I have a question for those of you who are familiar with prior years of the downtown inserts from studio and cornerstones: did previous years’ versions of these inserts also have foil accents and foil card stock?

I’m just trying to figure out the differences between this year’s edition and previous ones since the 2019 edition from one and one seem to be super popular and selling for higher prices than previous years. I know one and one is a higher end release, and the cards come slabbed, both of which are nice elements that might add to value. Rarity seems to be similar across the years, as far as I know. And I do subjectively think they look better than the cornerstones and studio versions but I was just curious about the foil part too.

I think this card is a thousand times better looking than Prizm. I would get the one and one.

This is Zions most iconic RC in my opinion and it’s not even close. It captures all of his potential and excitement he brought to to the hobby. Incredible pic up and great photo!!

I think The One and One will be an iconic image, the one to have..after that card released they turned around and used the image on the front of the box of hoops premium hobby hybrid..

I’d take this over the prizm despite the weight prizm carries in the hobby.

Interesting. Sounds like you're talking about the foot on the right. I actually love that. What bothers me is the foot blocked by his name and the inconsistency with the other foot.

But these are minor complaints for me. The shot has breathtaking subject aesthetic - you really see Zion with graceful beauty here - which puts it way above any of the other high-end Zion cards I've seen.

They could have sized the photo however they wanted though. They chose what they chose what they chose for a reason. They wanted his foot to go beyond the constraints of the border, and I think it works like they intended.

Both are incredible, Curry is probably “safer” but the Zion has a chance to be an all time iconic RC IMO. It’s his best looking RC IMO and only 175 total copies across all parallels.

This. Curry has very little downside at this point. He has locked his legacy and will only add to it. Zion has so much work left to do, but the potential reward is much greater and it is his best RC imo. The other plus for Curry with this set is that it is the first run so it’s not like there are other Curry One and One cards to water down the market.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I was really surprised at how easy it is to post pictures using the tapatalk app.

I wish it was that easy posting pictures from the laptop or desktop.


Quick question:

Does anyone know what the VIP size is for pictures?

The app asked me this but I didn't choose VIP. I chose the medium size. Do we need to pay a fee to be in the VIP category?
