Someone on COMC just listed 6 PSA graded 1990 Topps Frank Thomas cards that PSA erroneously marked as Tiffany cards (5x 9s, 1x 10). Should COMC just leave them as is, noted, or should they return to the submitter to be returned to PSA as mechanical errors to be fixed, since these have a high likelihood to be used in fraud against inexperienced collectors?

Or should COMC send them to PSA on behalf of the consignor, since there is zero cost to COMC outside of manpower?

Either the check is lost or delayed somewhere. They have no way of knowing.

if no -- please just check to see that it hasn't been cashed yet. It would only take a few keystrokes to find out.

You can't just cash a check with somebody elses name on it.

Next time just request a paypal deposit. It's free and easier.

I actually wanted to help COMC. I don't know the inner workings of COMC sending money to paypal and what paypal cut would be. But since COMC been so good to me up to this point, I would much rather have COMC keep the money than have paypal get it's hands on it.

About the check. Long before direct deposit at the work place, On multiple occasion, I cashed other co-workers checks. Never on purpose, but when they were handed out on Friday, I every so often received the wrong check. Went to the back, cashed it and went on. Good thing the times it happened it was friends of mine. We just evened it up then.

And with mobile deposits it’s even easier to cash a check with wrong name

5 weeks in and I e-mailed then 4 times, and they won't give me the answers to 2 simple questions.

Darnit... I meant its nearly IMPOSSIBLE

The mail in that area and all over is simply unpredictable. I would chalk it up to that. The express mail I had them ship me, and the one I sent them were both a few days late. Their marquee service cant even deliver, so I would expect first class to be super slow.

The worst part is feeling like you cant get ahold of them. Thats a big issue.

Worried about what? If they already told you when it was mailed, and it is well-known that mail is delayed weeks in some areas, what more can they tell you?

The check will show up eventually. Emailing COMC about it will not speed up the USPS.

Sent three cards to auction on December 24th. Two have basically gone missing.

To put it in perspective the third was listed back into my account for a few days, listed on eBay, and has already ended.

Maybe has to do with the upcoming auction event?

Highest should end at ~$70.00 so not big money.

So I guess you no longer can buy a bulk amount of cards and expect to get them anytime soon unless you want to pay an unrealistic number for shipping. Or you can pay $10 shipping and get an expected delivery date of three months later? SMH

Bulk as in hundreds of cards? I had a group of about 30 shipped for a bit over $30 and got it in about 3 weeks.

So i check my balance last friday and notice $177 was gone and it shows i have cards being uploaded to my account. I have not sent cards to COMC in years so i email them. Today i get a response from ANGELA. She says they are reviewing old transactions. My batch 155567 from July 2011 was not complete in their system! That's Right JULY of 2011 LOL. She said since this batch is now completed the charge will stand. I have never seen a more of a JOKE for a company in my life. Send a BILL 10 YEARS LATER. I pray that company goes under. I have saved the Emails if i need to provide proof of this.

I've started to record my balances in the event shady things like this happen. I thought they took the credit out as they process the cards. In this event they are saying they processed all of the cards and put them in your account but forgot to take the $177 out for fees?

Her email states "Our System Keeps a Rolling Total of Charges and items deposited that are typically more of an estimate than an exact total, at least until the processing of a given batch is officially concluded. Interesting with the processing. They also charged me $9.80 to process one card 3 week basic submission card last Wednesday. I sent an email questioning it but it must have gone undelivered or gotten lost because they haven't responded yet.
