Although 76ers are a little hard to predict... I'm curious to see how Doc works out in Philly.
I would add the Bucks to that list as well.

In regards to Doc he was a safe choice. You know what you’re getting. I imagine Elton Brand has to convince him they are making some roster changes. Brand has been horrible as a GM and should be on a short leash

Ah yeah, Bucks for sure, that was a mind blank on my part!

The 76ers had been really well set-up, they've mucked it up badly question now is what can be squeezed out from this mess. Harris contract looks worse and worse with time, loss of Butler and Redick is killer. That team has to pray they figure out a way to fully leverage Simmons, at this point the hope he ever develops even a passable jump shot is pretty dim imo. Spacing issues will likely continue to be a major problem. It's such a bummer too, Simmons has all the talent in the world...

I am quite sure that no GM in his right mind would think hey let me bring Durant and Kyrie here in hopes we can get into the second round of the playoffs. Just the same way the Lakers, and Clips made their offseason acquisitions and didn’t say a second round exit would be admirable and “let’s just wait until next year to get a few more players then we will win”.

The east is weaker than the west, so yes anything short of the ECF is an unsuccessful season for that group, especially considering their overachieving this year. Look at the east as is right now. Which team are you saying, “yeah, they don’t stand a chance against them“, in a playoff series nonetheless? I mean the Miami Heat are in the finals. Not taking anything away for them but more highlighting the fact that the east is wide open even with a healthy Giannis next year.

I understand why the GM made the moves he did. The talent is immense, but there are a lot of questions marks. Will KD be KD?how many guys are the same after a torn Achilles? Can Kyrie actually gel with teammates and stay healthy? Will other players regress with limited touches?

It is also their first year together. Often teams need an adjustment period and who knows if they will have a normal training camp due to COVID. Could they make the ECF? Yes, but I would say it’s more unlikely they don’t the first year together. Teams like the Heat, Bucks and Celtics are more likely to make the ECF. Even the 76ers and Raptors could pose a threat to the Nets.

Per a teammate on the team (Richard Jefferson) - the only reason that shot went to Kyrie was b/c curry was on him and they thought he was the weakest defensive link. Lebron couldn't take that shot b/c GSW would not leave curry on Lebron 1v1 - would have been a double off the screen as they had done the majority of the game
Lol. Ok. That's why LeBron didn't have the play drawn for him. Curry wasn't on him actually. They screened to get Kyrie on Steph. Could have done the same for Bron and if they doubled then someone would be wide open, no?

Sure, the game was tied. But hitting a 3 in game 7 on the road is big balls stuff.

Google Kyrie game winners. He has another vs GS down 1 with Klay smothering. Bron just watching on.

Kyrie was their closer. Not sure why people are getting so butthurt over it.

Lets pretend for the sake of argument they woefully underachieve next year. My question would be. Who gets fired?

Kyrie?
KD?
Vaughn?
Nash?
All Four?

Nash better assemble a strong staff or he is doomed.

It’s always the coach. I do think Nash will get more than a season to prove his worth.

You expected a stupid post from me based on where I live while you abandon the most basic grammar conventions in your reply? The irony here may be thicker than your skull. Mommy's basement? What does this even mean? What is the basis for this or any of the other tinfoil hat conspiracy theories about the "side piece" you guaranteed earlier in the thread? You have a looser grasp on reality than Kyrie does.

He's shut up too much!

Won't be traveling to Memphis, and won't be telling anyone why or when he'll rejoin the team. Sounds like a great teammate to have.

It could still work. But the Nets are just going to have to control that Cluster A for two months in the playoffs.

It's pretty early. I'd say they're still gonna be a top team in the East.

Kyrie is just a child. Not replying to Nash is massively disrespectful.

What a douche filled with incredible talent..

Why is it so difficult for Kyrie to just try and be a decent teammate, if nothing else? I wish someone else could absorb his all-world handle.

Kyrie isn't really saying much to tell him to shut up... but end of day, dude just don't seem to love the whole business of the "NBA".

He is someone who is great at his job, but just comes in do what he has to do and go home at 5:00 o clock. Doesn't care about anything else.

He's just not a relatable dude. He's in his own special place in his head where he's the only one that matters.

Forget all the Kyrie drama. The drama between these 2 is where it's really at!!!!!! Don't stop now. Tell us how you really feel about each other. It's 2021. Get it all out.............

I'll always thank him for the title for the Cavs, but I'm glad I sold all of my Kyrie cards. I cannot stand the guy anymore.

He always was and will be just a clown. He's as selfish as they come, will never be a leader.

Michael Jordan
LeBron James
Bill Russell
Wilt Chamberlain
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Magic Johnson
Larry Bird
Shaquille O'Neal
Tim Duncan
Kobe Bryant
Jerry West
Hakeem Olajuwon
Oscar Robertson
Moses Malone
Julius Erving
Elgin Baylor
Kevin Garnett
John Havlicek
Karl Malone
Charles Barkley

And that's without mentioning the following:

Kevin Durant
Steph Curry
Bob Pettit
George Mikan
Bob Cousy
David Robinson
John Stockton

etc.
