Not sure why but BDC-52 Landon Knack Los Angeles Dodgers $76 is tempting me.

Because it’s less than $2 per case....

I was thinking about this as well. Let’s say $1 per card at 200 cards in total (160 chrome, 40 refractors, not taking into account any color) isn’t too bad if you have time or set up at a show.

If You could unload all of the bulk base and ref at $0.25 per card it’s still totally worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure how you figure that, since that’s $50. Unless you’re saying it’s worth the chance at pulling a nice color chrome.

Surprised Isaiah Greene is still out there. And Hudson Haskin. Pretty high hobby ceilings for those guys, for the price (I see Wells too but that's a different price point). I'm tapped for funds, otherwise, well.

I have the same thought process with Trent Palmer right now. Someone in Canada must be willing to take on 200 Trent Palmer cards, let’s say at $150-$175 for the lot. After fees and shipping it should be an easy $40-50 bucks for us low end guys.

Yah man, the math is right 50 bucks back on a $75 spot....I detailed it out up above about how I and probably some others view chrome spots. Pluck out 8-12 of the best base and 2-3 best refractors to get graded, grade any clean color cards, and pluck out any raw color you want to keep as investment. Sell the rest to make 60-110% of your buy in back and then ride a nice little diverse investment chunk for a palatable price. There’s very few, if any chrome spots in this break that will give you guaranteed instant 100%+ ROI. Bank on every spot giving you a 60% ROI as about 80% of the spots in the last break, including all of mine, didn’t “break even”- FOR NOW. One perk for doing these is that you get in at the earliest point on most of these guys for a starting ROI way better than most wax boxes. And since you can choose the exact player(s) you (should) believe in to become stars, you’re also paying for the investment part of it. Allright, I live close enough to Dunedin to take a chance on the winner of a Chumlee from Pawn Stars look-alike contest. Add BDC-138 Trent Palmer Toronto Blue Jays $63 to my list.

You're not an idiot man. It was one bad idea, and people told you it was a bad idea in a way that was not very nice. I'm a designer, trust me, I know bad ideas firsthand quite well!
