$10k? Seriously? Haaland collectors must have deep pockets.

Both of my boxes have a small hole in the plastic. I'm resisting the urge to rip 'em so far.

Both of mine have that same hole at the seam on the same side but one has a second big hole on the front. Might just have to open that one...haha

Nah....keep them sealed. Nobody is posting their crap boxes on here. Seen a bunch of boxes opened up where there is no Fati or Haaland and the color is of a goalkeeper with a Virgil Van Dijk variation.

Lots of basketball clectors bought these boxes and have no clue about the soccer market or who the players are. Been funny watching this on Instagram thinking their Pulisic is worth $200 bucks

I don’t know, I got a box without a Fati or Haaland, and still sold all of the cards for around $550 total.... No true superstars, but a lot of them do have value....

Funny enough I actually operated a shrink wrap machine during a pre-grad temp job while I was waiting for school to start many years ago. The "factory hole" is definitely a real thing lol. Usually caused by the item being in the oven too long, or the shrink wrap being off-center before going into the oven. Since it happened to so many boxes, the wrap may have been a tad too small for this size of box.

You will make value on a box no matter what. Generally expect roughly $250-300 in raw value per box at today’s current prices. That is why I said if you bought it for $80-$250 you can be pretty confident in making your money or more. Anything more you are gambling with. I’m still 50/50 on what to do with my box that I grabbed at $250.

Depends on the sample size. Fati and Haaland should both fall 1:3 boxes not counting color. If you opened 30 boxes you'd expect 10 of each.

So let's say someone spends 15k on 30 boxes off eBay. 20 Fati/Haaland's should sell for 10k (today's prices) meaning everything else only has a base cost of 5k total. If you hit 60 color in those 30 boxes the odds of getting some big ones are pretty good. It's still a lot of work and you could always get shut out of good color but as someone who opens a lot of wax, I think this is one of the lower-risk breaks out there.

Did someone do a breakdown of the number of each card?
I am sure it buried in the many pages.
Is it 3000 or more. I feel like comapred to Chrome it is still very limited and prices hopefully hold or go up as did earlier Topps Sapphire baseball did

The estimated run for base I believe is 4000. Variations also run more than the typical Variation from the Hobby box, but I do not have a number on that.

Out of curiousity, has anyone experienced same issues between Hobby and Sapphire in regards to Factory and Print Lines? I was told that they seem to have the same issues and this could make them very very hard to grade.

I think Variations and Future Stars are inserted at the same rates as the base. I think realistically we are looking at 1:4 for any given card including those. So gives you ~50% chance of not hitting Haaland or Fati in any given box.

Was it Topps UK? Missing a few things from orders they show as completed, haven't been able to get a response from anyone across the pond.

My observations were its "the same" - some look great. Some clearly with the lines. For whatever reason Haaland in the main set were almost all with the faint lines. I think it was probably like 80% of mine - maybe more. Probably where he fell on the sheet. In sapphire, my Haaland was super super clean.

Fati was pretty clean in the regular release... no idea in this, I wasn't a lucky recipient.

I noticed the lines with others, though, in Sapphire. And my Ronaldo was odd with the bad lamination of the cardboard. I did double check and it was the base and not teh variation... so at least until the world decides they are printed at the same volume, it's the slightly better Ronaldo to have un-damaged.

Really wondering how they'll treat them.

Great points and breakdown! Good luck on the rest of your boxes and remember to keep me in mind when selling

My buddy received 2 Fati's out of his 4 boxes he ripped both having significant print lines. For those who have been lucky to rip and get Fati, have you seen any significant print lines?

He also mentioned the color parallels he received had those lines as well. I think this may be a result of trying to rush out this product and we could see some major problems when it comes to surfaces.
