I have been looking over the PSA prices ... will they continue to rise? Thoughts?

I love the look of this set and it seems to be harder and harder to get boxes. The two Savage cards seem like winners from an increasing value perspective. Also, the Andre Battle Royal card seems to do well.

Most of the guys besides Savage have other cards out there, but as those dry up I don't see why people wouldn't be trying to pick up this set too (same opinion of the 87 set).

Condition sensitive is an understatement for these. Both of my Savages are very OC.

I’ve had these for some time and they’ll be heading out to PSA this week. These ones are immaculate and should grade pretty high.

I think it was just a matter of time till the 85 & 87 sets went up up up. Look what the 82 & 83 sets did this year LOL.

Had this card as a child and one of my favorites. Had to buy the above as an adult.

Such a classic set.

Happy holidays everyone and enjoy !

I noticed the "Ready For War" PSA 10 just sold on Ebay. I live in Canada, and I noticed they had it for "Buy It Now" for awhile. Just a matter of time before someone picked it up. Congrats! Great looking card!

Cheers,

Picked up a monster 90 card lot (complete set plus some extras) from a vending case. Went though them all this week and while all are immaculate (but off centered), these are the best of the bunch and will be sent off to PSA in January to test how they’ll be graded.

I broke a box of this a year or two ago. I sent of a dozen or so this summer, and revisited the rest this week. Mine nearly all have rough cut edges. I understand this is common with OPC, but I'm seeing quite a few clean-cut copies from the folks here. Here are a few sitting in my grading stack (click for high-res):

Great looking cards, thank you for sharing... takes me right down memory lane. I remember opening up these packs as a child after school.

Miss those days.

Happy new year and stay safe.

A lot of those clean cut cards are from vending boxes, which were cut AFTER cards that were out in packs were cut. At that point, they changed the wires used for cutting so the edges were clean. Some of my cards have SLIGHTLY rough edges, but look clean for the most part. Most have slight corner wear as well.

Well, got a few back from that summer submission. My pre-grade was spot on for 7-8-8, so happy I'm matching up with PSA on these older cards. Lots more in the pipeline
