And we still can see some cards with IDs in the 3 million or lower range.

Yes I have been after them for years to put in a feature that a buyer can Hide/Ignore a card/cards. I collect players.. The top one is Ahman Green He has a total of 3089 cards out there. COMC show 1247 for sale and 625 sold that is hidden unless you click on the ignore button.. I see no reason I can not just click on a card that I have of him and put it in the Ignore area and it stays there. It would take the list of him down to a few hundred I have 1048 of his cards and it is frustrating to have to go through all of his cards to find a few. Every time I look for cards of his I have to look through all of them because they change position as people changes prices.

I only joined in 2014 so those are the records I have easy access to. If someone else wants to fill in the rest, please do. I have seen some cards with item #50,000 before. Looked like the account was dormant. 100M might be one year from today. There are a lot of cards sitting on the sidelines right now waiting for basic to re-open. |

He's already asked for "by listing date" or "by item number" searches. Hasn't been added yet, but it is worthwhile. Sorting by Card # will not meet the goal he's trying to accomplish. He wants to look at a specific card (like 1990 Topps Frank Thomas) and see all the ones listed recently. There is no option to do that.

My Christmas project is removing all the cards from my watch list and add all the cards that I need.
I'm at 2800 cards now. The good thing is I have find 8 cards that I purchased right a way. I would have never find them other wise. Started with the player who has the most cards then Highest priced to the lowest. The reason for that is "If I want to I can see if the prices change or when sold I can figure out about what they sold for. (maybe) I have finished 18 players and the next 20 have fewer the 200 cards each. After that the players just have a few cards so it should go fast. Real pain but so far it is worth it.

Change all the metrics on the Top Buyers & Sellers page from being in units of SRP to units of store credit in USD. SRP is worthless in this context, as 3 cent cards still have SRPs of $2.50 or more.
That, and reprogram SRP to make sense. It's worthless, currently. |

One of the major issues is the "Rookie Card," "Rookie Year," and PRC designations on cards. They're all calculated by a poorly written computer program. Someone on staff needs to go through the database with a fine-toothed comb and fix them. Some are because the same player is in different categories, some because they don't consider true nationally-distributed sets to contain RCs (like 1933 or 1934 Goudey in some instances), and some because player names are not consistent across eras or card names.

All finished with it. Over 3,300 card now on my watch lists. I picked up 30 more. Some I paid more then I wanted to but they were the last card that I needed for that group. I requested a shipment but it would not accept it . They were saying I do not have enough credit but it show I did. After several back and fore messages it was corrected. I also laid into them for several other issues. Got the old reply That they will look into to them and take all messages seriously.

Add all cards of a single sport to an offer from a single seller - Currently you can only add all cards from 1 seller

I just loaded 120 cards into my cart from probably 30 different sellers. Why do I not have the ability to click a button and buy all of them at the same time rather than making individual offers to 30 consecutive sellers, if I want to purchase them with store credit and add them to my COMC Inventory at the list price?
Make it happen! |

[X-POSTING FROM MEGATHREAD]
The algorithm about what to cross-list on eBay sucks. Cards that are currently selling on eBay at 5x+ the COMC price don't get cross-listed while cards that are way off market do get cross-listed. You also have idiocies like a card that an EX-NM card priced at $49.74 getting cross-listed alongside a better card listed at a dollar. Solution - get some free labor from your most active users (sort of akin to the challenges). I'd love to see some sort of system that crowdsources the ability to determine what gets crosslisted, where active sellers can get (say) 5 or 10 cards a year (with COMC picking the cheapest of all cards of the type, not just the one owned by the seller) to nominate for cross-listing to eBay. You could even have a system where successes get rewarded sort of like video review challenges, where if at least one of the cards sells within 3 months you get credit to nominate another card.

If a non-sports card shows an actor playing a character, the "Players" should include the actor and also the character. For example, a card with Harrison Ford as Han Solo should be searchable as Harrison Ford or Han Solo.
