Ah, that was you... Yeah, I’ve been thinking the same thing. I bought one a couple weeks ago for a little cheaper than the other ones listed, so I decided to wait to see what else might pop up. Then, as nothing was popping ip, I decided to revisit those $15 listings—only to find they were gone!

Since you two guys are probably bidding on that 50 Box Sapphie break, I'll go ahead and step aside

No breaks for me promise that's not me bidding lol! Buying singles this past year has been really great wish I had stuck to it longer. Only reason I saw these Sapphires is because I wanted a Benintendi for my PC and saw one for $4 with the Rookie Cup and the buyer also had the Vlad so grabbed them both. Both Blue Sapphire love the look figured it was a decent price so grabbed a couple more since.

It was pretty much love at first sight with this card. I finally got one—and it happens to be numbered 1/50.

She's a beaut
I love Archives Fan Favorite autos!
And yeah, maybe it's just not seeing a lot of 1982 topps autos but it looks fantastic.

I saw this bad boy and had to have it.

RC Logo, Auto, #'d 3/5, Beam Team (young man day memories), showing the follow through and back of jersey. Pretty much checked all of the boxes that turn me on to a card.

Very happy to own this one!

That's an outstanding card. Only thing I would want is the serial number on the front. When a card is that low I want it on the front. But an awesome pickup.

Only 2 things I don't like a ton. #1 as you said, I want the serial # on the front and 2nd more shiny foil.

That being said, I absolutely love it.

Just got this in the mail today. Obviously hard to tell through the slab, but I'm not seeing how the surface got a 9. Tempted to crack and send over to PSA.

Have you examined the back? I bought a Vlad Topps Chrome parallel recently in a PSA 8 case. It looked pristine, except for a rather lengthy indented line (opposed to a crease) on the back surface. So there could be something not terribly obvious back there.

Regardless, this one’s still a beaut!

I have 9.5 slab of a bum with (3)10 subgrades and a 8.5 surface. I’ve been tempted to see if it’s just some schmutz that can be wiped off but he’s so bad that it wouldn’t make a difference at this point. GL if you crack.

I think you may be right. Re-checked the back and I didn't notice this speck above the "L". Could just be something trapped in there when slabbed, but looks more to be the flaw that was the culprit.

Man, that’s so minor. (At least in my book.) I can’t give advice on what to do, but I wouldn’t fault you if you opted to resubmit.

I don't have nearly as much "invested" in Vlad as most of you guys, as aside from these two recently coming back from PSA, I only have a few NNOs and US1s. The X-Fractor I picked up a few months back and just so happens to be the 199/199 copy. It runs about the same price as his 201 X-Fractor with this being way more limited, and I frankly don't understand that. Sure 201 bears the same image as NNO, but it just isn't SPed at all and I would hope US1 and Chrome Update 21 gain more traction. Bummed with the grade, but it really pops off and is a fun one to look at. The Rainbow Foil also just came back.

That 21 is very nice. I think the TCU print run will actually keep the 21s quite relevant in the Vlad market. I think the 201 will always be just a step ahead but the 21 was definitely produced in lower quantities.

But nothing trumps "first."

Looks like these are back to $120+.

Much like the NNO / Missing Number, these could be had for a lot less just a month or three ago. It's not even January, and we're already back to late-season pricing.

Just got my first ever PSA sub back. Super happy with this. Pack pulled by me which makes it 100 times sweeter!

I was planning on grabbing a few refractors this offseason, but I kept waiting and waiting... Maybe raws can still be had at a good deal. But I definitely won’t be matching the glory in this photo.

I got my X-Fractor PSA 10 for $120 about a month ago. I'm not pressing my luck any further. That is a sweet refractor haul.
