Rochester released an autographed version of his foil Jeter today:
https://shop.jacobrochester.com/prod...ey-card-bundle (it's sold out)

I wonder how many copies artists get of their foil cards.

The artists shouldn't have received any additional foil cards unless they bought 20 regular cards. That is changing the PR by Topps, and that is wrong

2 for $500 each, but he bundled with an Ebbetts Field #2 jersey.

He may have ordered 40ish base cards, but he only offered the auto on the foils.

Do the flags represent that Beck is now finished with his 20 cards?

Possibly.

If it does, I don't like it.

Survey is CLOSED

Don C Gooden / Thiele Griffey is finally untied, but you guys almost created another tie with Naturel Jeter / Thiele Thomas.

It just doesn't have anything to do with Mattingly the player, Mattingly the person or the original card itself.

That's fair. It's a bit like the artist putting their name on the card I guess.

The Foil was probably at the same odds as ours with 1:20 per card purchased.

Many of these artists buy their own cards for selling and for giving away to family and friends. I believe all are in the stated print runs.

Agreed and that is fine. I was concerned that they floated an extra 10 foils to the artist, but 2 for buying 40 makes perfect sense. I just don't know how I missed that Rochester was a foil. I have caught most of the others. The last couple days have been a bit of a blur though.

Kind of like horizontal cards being turned into vertical ones...they are more about the artists than the legendary athletes or the iconic cards themselves.

I get it. I just don't like it. But I also didn't like Jamieson putting his fanny pack on the Rivera card.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter, as these artists are all millionaires and I'm just some guy with more money than he could spend in several lifetimes.

But the checkered flag eliminated Beck Mattingly from 'framed art print' consideration and Mr. Beck will have to live with that.

Was putting out a full set of companion cards after the project ended ever confirmed by Blake Jamieson?

Mr. Beck will be starting his day learning that his hubris has brought about his unFAPening.

I also didn't care for Mister Cartoon's Gwynn card.

I might just be miserable.
