I've just been messing around w/ you. You do you my friend. It's your collection, not mine. Now if you told me you were buying a bunch of Lux and Randy during the season & playoffs, I may have an actual opinion on that

I just tallied it up, I have 24 outstanding packages right now, with purchase dates going back to November 25th. It’s gonna be a merry Christmas (or maybe happy new year) once these start showing up. Hasn’t really altered my spending habits, but it could if any of these end up lost.

Have not had any issues until this week. ZERO scans of any kind since 12/9/20. 67 packages showing "awaiting acceptance" dropped off over a period of 3 days last week. I guess I would be more concerned if it was one load that was lost. But still, not even a scan or movement?

I typically just drop in the box, but have been handing them directly all month and have had limited issues thus far (*Knock on wood*)

If you're selling cards right now, you need to be handing them directly to someone...watching them scan it...and then possibly getting a receipt (depending on how you are doing the process).

I just had a card I sold on eBay that went from "shipping label printed" on Dec 5th (dropped in the mailbox that same morning) to Delivered today, Dec 14th.

It was only scanned in once, 9 days later when it was delivered. Never seen that happen before.

Seeing a lot of this. Think I’m done listing small stuff until next year. Priority still getting there in 2-3 days. Everyone bump your shipping rate $4 and you are golden.

If a package was scanned before delivery it was done by the local delivering post office the night before when they received the package. Atlanta the only scans I've seen are the ones I hand directly to the Post Office counter workers.

I've had a few irritated customers, mostly at USPS not me, but so far all but 2 of the packages have found their destinations over the last 3 weeks. Luckily the 2 packages that haven't are the smallest valued packages ($9.99 and $14.99), so if they go missing I'll be upset, but not as upset as I was 10 days ago when over 20 of the packages still had zero movement/scans.

And soon I'll get the Matt Taylor -Trout presold cards arriving from Topps, I am not looking forward to sending out 24 different packages right now.

Oh man thats brutal. Luckily my buyer never contacted me and immediately left positive feedback, but I could understand a buyer being confused that USPS never shows a scan after a week and a half.

My impression is that stuff is still moving (slowly), but workers are no longer scanning stuff at each step in the process in order to speed things up.

USPS informed delivery said I had 9 packages scheduled for delivery today, and 5 tomorrow. 4 showed up today, we’ll see what tomorrow looks like.



I also had a package with no tracking updates since December 3, and I started a lost package case with usps yesterday and within 12 hours it started showing scans again. Any usps experts know how that works exactly?

I just shipped a package “Priority USPS” to a fellow board member here and it got there in 3 days. I was absolutely surprised!

No problem with packages getting to their destination though some took extra time. Had a very patient buyer finally request a refund after three plus weeks with no update on tracking. Gave them a full refund and of course the package was delivered three days later.

Is the buyer obligated to pay for an item if it arrives after you have refunded their money?

I haven't been keeping tabs on outgoing packages but no complaints yet. As far as incoming I had a package take 3 weeks to get from Ohio to Virginia, and another sent Priority from Wisconsin that took 9 days. Everything still got here eventually though.

I've had a couple of those happen to me over course of this year, including one that disappeared into the wasteland for 3+ weeks and caused no end of strife. Then suddenly boom I get a notice that it was on the truck for delivery, and that was that.
